This game looks like it could be really cool but considering most of these battles looked like they were with bots I don't know if this worth getting into not to mention this video is a year old so I imagine it hasn't gotten better
tbh if we're talking about the us steam version, you're pretty much hunting bots most of the time until platinum. when you're there, human matches become more frequent since that's when you face the highest ranking players of the game. one thing for sure is that higher rank people play much more frequently than lower ranked people.
Genshin and this are 2 separate things. SMC is just a manga-styled battle royale that came years ago and the one and only most unique game. Genshin is just a money hungry ARPG gacha. Battle royale and gacha aren't the same thing

Not reserch intensive like genshin that you need to research intensively about the artifacts, weapons, crit rate, crit dmg, albedo is good to pair with ayaka or not and such things. SMC don't have that. You have to play it the way you play fortnite, pubg, cod etc. Just jump on the map and be the last one standing
Is it mandatory that only JP games can have JP voice? I have seen a lot of American companies use Hindi in their games when Hindi is an Indian language

You only unlock them once and they stay there permanently, make sure you are logging into the correct account, Merry Christmas!
