"The Boyfriend" features a group of nine young men who are attracted to other guys as they live together in a seaside beach house called the "Green Room" and run a peppermint coffee truck. Whether they are here to meet a romantic partner, find a lifelong friend or improve themselves, these men bring their hopes and dreams to the Green Room to take part in the first gay romance reality show in Japan. This series represents a new chapter in the history of Japanese romance reality shows, which until now have only depicted heterosexual relationships.

@@izr.8465 Taiki is a Japanese model, with his bf Noah (korean and a model too) they have a YT channel and work together as models, they have been together for 8 years. Taiki founded his agency, he's been working a lot and having models under him and giving them works. For this program, Taiki was part of the production team and he was in charge of the casting too, so I'm happy he had this big project!
