I love that when Sanvers met it was a total meet cute moment. the badge measuring was very sexy .
When they first meet Alex is pulling rank on Maggie but Maggie gives Alex it back and diffuses the tension with humour, it's clear very early on that they will have a great relationship.
I realize I’m really like Alex. I’m gay, the first person I came out to was the girl I like, I was doubting it, I was confused, the second person I came out to was like a sister to me, and I’d say I’m a badass who’s not afraid of crying or looking vulnerable. I also feel like I subtly flirt at first and then become not so subtle.
You guys are soooooo brave.. Like my bestie who's just amazing but I know it wouldn't work for us which she teases me daily that I'm gay which I deny it because if I do come out and gets shutdown I would physically be crushed so NO! I'll just sit and wait as patiently as I can

First time i came out was in year 6 when my table was saying i liked the boy i was sitting beside because we got along well and were always making jokes. I told them i was gay and they all accepted me. It was really a great table of friends.

All great reason and this is a wonderful video my favorites are numbers 35 when Maggie realises she loves Alex to up to number 40 but the best reason for shipping Sanvers is Alex and Maggie are a really cute sweet couple who really love each other.

Sanvers was the first couple on TV that actually opened my eyes about something. Since I played Life is Strange I was curious if it was even remotely okay to feel this way so when Maggie turned up while casually watching the show every episode per week and Alex grew closer with her, I grew closer with myself. Seeing actual people show affection in that way and even if it is only acting, its more than a game could show you.
Its been a few years and looking back I know that this couple had an impact on me that was strong. Chylers Statement in Pride 2020 made it even better for me now looking back. I've just left a relationship with the first women I ever dated and honestly, even tho it ended I am glad I got to experience this. So now that I am rewatching supergirl from the start now I realized how beautiful their relationship was, and Alex desires about having children is totally valid even in a WLW relationship

I’m revisiting my favourite era of supergirl and that was because of these two. I think that is because this was around the time when I was figuring out my own sexuality and it’s thanks to these two badass gay characters that was figured out I was gay
