@@iamayanakuzunoha430 yeah that’s true. Since Nicole was the lead singer and dominant and the others were backup dancers(with Melody sometimes singing little parts), they were called “Nicole and Friends”.

Wow, this sure brought back memories .... PCD songs are still fresh and relevant today. Their videos can easily be compared with the current crop and it would not loose out.
i find it weird when they said that it's rare to see girl groups from America most especially if you're a 90's baby like me who grew up watching TLC Destiny's child and a whole lot more🙄
Yes I feel the same too but I do agree because nowadays people are probably more familiar with soloists and sometimes bands and they don’t see much Western groups much, so that’s understandable.
Hi please do a reaction video of NOW UNITED's Baila, Come Together, One Love, Heartbreak On the Dancefloor and Wave your flag. They dance so well and they have a korean member named Heyoon who's a great dancer.
Nobody's really singing except the lead Nicole and I think maybe one other of them might have filled in some background vocals in studio and took leads on a few of their less popular songs. The rest were essentially just dancers. And Nicole, while very capable of singing live, certainly didn't do it while dancing.

Girl groups were more popular in the 90s in the US hence why you see so many solo acts, but there were a whole lot of them 90s going back.
