are you required to pay a fee for each 1/1 nft you mint? I have a collection of 20 that I want to mint into 1 "Collection" but I dont see anything within manifold giving me an option to name my collection or to batch mint? Thanks
Still don't understand what people see in nft's. It isn't about the art, it's just people buying or giving money to companies to create nfts and then hoping someone else will buy it for more money. You can say the same about buying/selling real paintings but at least you then actually own it and you can actually enjoy it or do whatever. And then I'm not even speaking about the amount of electricity it uses. What's your view on this? In my eyes it's just cryptocurrency with major risks because you're buying something that honostly doesn't exist, you don't even actually own the art.
I agree with you that there are definitely a lot of people buying NFTs hoping they will be able to flip them for more money in the future. But for myself personally, I buy NFTs based on the art, the credibility of the project, the community you can be a part of, and what benefits or utility they offer for owning an NFT. In regards to owning the artwork, let's use my own artwork as an example. If you were to purchase the NFT, you can print the artwork on any medium and any size you'd like and display it in your home, office, etc. Or even sell editions if you so choose. But there is only going to be 1 NFT of the artwork which is verifiable through the blockchain. Again, this isn't the same for every project as there are thousands of different types, I can only speak on my own, but the ownership is always verifiable. Electricity usage is a major concern of mine because of the environmental impact, but I believe in a future where consumption can be reduced. Appreciate the comment!
Keep it up buddy great vid like always.

Yeah so you would probably want to batch mint which is currently only upon request. Reach out to Manifold and you can probably get access.
