Understanding how to interpret interactions in the Cox proportional hazards regression model. Lecture notes and code (R, Stata, and SAS) for reproducing the analyses shown in the lecture can be downloaded from pauldickman.com.... Target audience is students and researchers in biomedical sciences without extensive training in statistics. The lecture described how to interpreting parameter estimates, in both main effects and interaction models, but with a specific emphasis on interactions. Examples use Cox regression, but the principles apply to all models.
