I like Pattaya market I bought a lot of elephant pants and gave them to my relatives and friends in the Philippines and LA . Will be back there hopefully next year .🥰
I disagree I find it difficult to find the TASTES of USA here, especially in the grocery stores, the SWEETS are very subdued and its difficult to find flavorful, rich ingredients for MEXICAN and ITALIAN foods, really hard to find good cheeses also and I actually found the THAI dishes in CALIFORNIA are much better😋 PHILIPPINES is definitely a place to find better ingredients similar to USA and bigger portions too, as well as more variety in RESTAURANTS😁

I was a little surprised this past week/ something came by and ate part of my tomato plants (snipped off the leaf stem), that is nature for you/ the plant will grow back (return), just a surprise of the week. Always plant some extra for mother nature.

yes the market that I have been to couple in and around Pattaya were fantastic. Great value for a quick meal. I admit I basically just browsed as I did not need clothing ,socks, shirts or shoes, It's an experience to see one of there markets and I really wish that is how the markets are run here in Canada, but unfortunately not. So anyway, looking for a place that isn't too expatsy, dont need a whole lot of tourists disturbing the peace, a mostly chilled and relaxed environment, not too far from where I can go relieve some stress if you catch my drift, has a movie theater, excellent street food scene, not in the country just to be clear, mid range in living, not that over crowded, dont really need a night party scene but maybe a chill bar i can have a good drink at now and then, maybe not that far from airport? Do you know of any places?

The problem I have with those night markets is when I find a little tidbit that I really like, when I go back around I can't find the same stall again.
Would love to see "A Thai Option" or a how to eat Thai food as a Vegan, Vegetarian Keto or even Carnivore. Including how to ask for specific options..no meat, no rice etc.....I am a carnivore that eats ONLY meat.
You are about 15 miles south of Pattaya, well outside the tourist area, so these are Normal Thai Prices, just shows how much they jack up the prices in Pattaya !!!

Even though its nice to go to a quality restaurant and spend big you know you can have just as much fun shopping for bargains at a fraction of the cost. Yes a great way to get a great price is to buy more from the vendor be it tee shirts or socks. Good to see you are both so happy doing simple pleasures together.

Those two places are a 40 min drive (or 7 hour walk) apart, so for visitors, the transport would cost way more than you'd ever save.
