I remember having long leather straps that were part of my saddle that I used to climb on. That pony reminds me of Poppy my little barrel racing partner. She was half Hackney and have Quarter. Fast as heck.
What a great way to spend family time! How old are your kids and have they been riding most of their lives?
They are 10 and 13 (the boys are twins) They’ve all been riding some since they were around 8. It is definitely one of our fav pastimes!
