Nice work paw paw me and my 4yr old granddaughter. love to watch you videos together. Iam in the works to get an x-carve in the near future. and this would be a great idea for a monitor. Thanks for the videos .
Thank you very much. My grand kids like helping in the shop. The ones that I take care of are 4 years old and 13 months. She's a little young yet but still likes being in the shop.
@@PawPawsWorkShop yeah they grow up way to fast! Also paw paw would you mind. if I get an email address in case I have any questions when I get my x-carve. Thanks
Your monitor has four screw on the back which when removed will allow the rest of the base to slide out . will look cleaner on your wall with out that piece hanging down .
Thank you very much. You are right. I didn't take if off because I am storing the base plate on the shelf and that part of the base just didn't fit in the space. I may switch the monitor out for something else and did not want to lose the parts.
hello God bless you family and friends. I have a question on a CNC machine I'm thinking about getting one is it hard to handle work.... what if you can tell me what would I need and like the one you have or something I would really appreciate it thank you very much God bless all..
I do not find it hard to handle work. You can go to the Inventables website and you can also call the support team at Inventables. They are very helpful. The website is www.inventables.com . I have the 1000mm with the Dewalt 611 router. I also purchased the clamp set. I have the homing switches but do not use them. That would be up to you. If you have basic tools already in your shop skip the tool kit that they offer.
Nice work with the makeover. I also hung a monitor on the wall. One suggestion would be to use a wireless keyboard/mouse. You can pick up a Logitech MK270 for $20. Then you can add a membrane to the keyboard to keep sawdust out of it. As for the laptop, Right-click on the desktop -->display settings-->power & Sleep-->additional power settings--> Choose what closing the lid does-->do nothing. This will allow you to keep the laptop powered with the lid closed. You'll just use the wall monitor and no sawdust will get into your laptop. I went one step further and keep my laptop powered continuously so I can remote into it from other locations and do my design work.
Thank you, great ideas also. I have a wireless mouse and I love it. The laptop does not stay in the shop. I bring it into the shop only to carve on the CNC
Great video
