*File select music starts playing* Actually, it is useful in tick toc clock because if you get a star on one of the moving platforms it distorts mario's spawning location when he exits the level, meaning instead of landing on the floor you land right by the entrance of the level, this is useful because it saves an A press.
That's called Spawning Displacement and it's a Japanese-only glitch. The US version fixed this.
3:37 that is useful it can change your position when you spawn back (it's more useful with demos). 4:02 with the BLJ this is more useful allowing you to win with 0 stars. 5:00 this can be used to hold nothing allowing other objects go in to your hand (this is called cloning). 5:28 if you grab something and place it down somewhere and then hold your cap in your hand garb something and release it it goes to the place where you dropped the other thing (the HOLP). 6:21 this is WAY more useful than you think. see Pannenkoek for more details.

You're not allowed to play Mario 64 since it requires the analogue stick and your name is DPadGamer so you only use a Dpad. Either you use a controller Dpad to play or use arrow keys. Shoutout to simpleflips

your really not going to cover parallel universes cloning and many other gliches like saving most of your momentum but building up almost infinite speed going to the castle clipping through the wall and getting into cool cool mountin with 0x a presses
+the dark soul those are all fantastic, but a bit too complex for me to include, without having an expert on the topic. Perhaps one day they'll be covered in a follow up video.

It works, it just takes the correct rhythm. Don't mash it, you gotta press faster the higher up Mario is on the stairs.
Plus with the star door you actually have to be close to the center for t success at least thats how i got it to work if i was near the sides i couldnt get it to work

The lobby glitch where you enter into the pillar is very useful, it's vital for 0 star runs.
I found a glitch. In lethal lava land, in the volcano go up to the first bulky and let time bully you in the left corner. You will get bullied forever until you press ZL and thenA and B and A at the same time. You will fall through the fall and die by lava. It's not helpful but oh well
With the hat in hand glitch, you could have talked about it teleporting the object when you release it (holp) and how that position can be changed
Sometimes I think SM64 is creepier than FNAF...

6:15 anything weird with marios model there?
There's more to the Hat in Hand glitch (A.K.A HiH). I'll try to make it simple. If you place a cork box on a bridge, then perform HiH, anything you pick up will become invisible. If you then throw or place something, it will appear at where you placed said cork box, A.K.A the HOLP. Throwing something will appear at the HOLP, and will do the throwing animation (I don't know how to word it), and dropping it will have it appear at the HOLP, but at your height. I apologize in advance if my grammar is bad.
TL;DR: You can have things appear at a different location using the glitch at 5:21
I found that glitch wheres he's a zombie
I know another glitch outside, I tried to long jump so i could skip the endless stairs, and eventually I normal jumped onto a part of the bridge, the camera freaked out, Mario slid to the sand area of outside the castle (I was where the overhang was) and an entering water that isn't deep enough for you to swim sound played rapidly.
During the hat-in-hand glitch, when you let go of something it goes to the position of the last object you threw. Watch pannenkoek2012 for more information about HOLPs (Held Object's Last Placement)

That ledge grab with the basement stairs, you said it was slightly less useful but it can actually save even more time during a speedrun including glitches because it will allow you to backwards long jump and skip the first stars in the game if use correctly.
Hey, when you showed the glitch where you kicked while holding a, you can actually do that on most steep slopes. Other than that I really liked this video :)
Yeah! I might have worded it improperly, but you can use it on most steep slopes, but I only showed one as an example :)
I'm pretty sure that, for most slopes that are waaay too steep to climb up, you could just alternate every frame walking and not walking up the slope. It's simple if you hold the controller where the top is towards you and repeatedly flick the control stick back.

IIRC you go into the star collect animation, the level ends, but you get thrown out onto your butt as if you died while the coins collected post-star dialog and save/cont. prompt is shown.
theres a glitch where you can grab the 'immovable bob-omb' you can grab, if you throw it than regrab it at the RIGHT frame, you can grab it. it explodes and....... nothing. the bob-omb explodes than it becomes the NULL item. if you touch an enemy, model, or... anything that isnt level geometry, mario grabs it and carries that thing. say, a goomba or a bubble!

I honestly don’t know why I only remember the intro to the “Mario turns into the zombie glitch” from this video. Very odd, but it’s probably because of the inflection of how you said the phrase.
BLJs work because Mario’s speed limit is represented as a positive number - let’s just say something like 10. Since he’s going backwards, his speed is negative, and due to a developer oversight there is no negative speed cap. Since every BLJ adds negative speed, Mario can go at insane, gamebreaking speeds if done correctly.
your explanation for the corner of doom is /almost/ right, but there actually aren't any invisible walls around the castle! rather, the game treats any region in any level that has no floor below it as "out of bounds", and out of bounds acts similarly but not identically to an invisible wall. it's supposed to be impossible for mario to enter out of bounds, but certain actions - ledge grabs, opening doors, reading signs, etc. - can force mario to move into out of bounds anyway, at which point the game immediately kills him as a safeguard. (notice also that mario's hat disappears when he enters the corner of doom, unlike most deaths in the game. that's indicative of being killed by out-of-bounds.)
For the bobomb slide glitch, you can BREAK THE GLITCH on emulators. Another glitch is on a course with a small block. Throw the block into a big block while against the big block and instead of the big blocks breaking, the small block will break.

Fun fact sorta: If you BLJ on a elevator such the Big Boo's Haunt one if you go fast enough the game will teleport you to a void and the slightest move can crash the game and on Hazy Maze Cave you can teleport through the wall and to where you can get the metal cap.
