In this video I'll update the nessasary work needed on my 1K Harley bagger. www.ridelikeap... www.tabperform... www.motorcycle... / ride.like.a.pro.inc
I have a 2008 FLHTP that I bought in 2010. It was lightly used with only 2,500 miles on it. At this point I have fully customized the bike and it rides and handles like a dream.
A filthy mess Jerry? Sorry I didn’t get a chance to clean it. LOL. I’m glad you’re enjoying it , and I hope your students get to enjoy it also. I’ll take you up on your offer to go riding when I get back from Japan. Tell Donna I said hi.
Jerry, I swear that bike looks more like a $3,000 bike than it does a $1,000 bike. Great job! BTW, I'm going to drop my bike off at your house for a detail. Maybe you can start another RUclips channel called, "Detail Like a Pro" where you show people how to clean their bikes correctly and show how bad they were at it at the beginning of the class and how good they got afterward.
I got a 1991 FLHTCU (Ultra-Classic Electra-Glide) for $5,000. I love the bike, it's my favorite. Zero problems. The radio did not work when I bought it, but I disassembled the batwing and found two blown fuses. Replaced them and it works. That's right, I can listen to my CASSETTES from the 80s!
Jerry, I have been watching your vids on bike drops. I just figured out why we drop, like you said, we pull on the clutch. It's because we "think" we are going to fast for the turn so we want to slow down. First thing we do to slow down is yank that clutch in. I am terrified of dropping mine, no crash bars yet, but now I am going to start from scratch. Straight line slow speed and clutch control before doing my tight turns. Btw, I feel quite comfortable doing corner turns on the road. Thanks for the videos and tips.
This is a not a usual buy in the U.S.. It belonged to a friend who no longer needed it. I taught him to ride like a pro way back in 2007 when he bought it brand new, rode all over the country with it and stopped riding a couple of years ago. He wanted it to have a good home so he practically gave it away for a thousand bucks.
Love the videos. Saw the CCRIDERS seat and bought one for my Dyna just because of the price! Not that I don't have the standard Harley and the Tall Boy already! Just want to see how good those CCRIDERs are! I'm old school retired with big city dept training and experience (50+ years ago) and have been riding since 14 years old. I'm going to attend one of your courses just for the fun and learning experience!
I’m glad it went to a good home. It’s nice to know that my bike will teach many, many riders how to become not a good rider but an exceptional rider. I took that bike and previous bikes to 49 out 50 states. All solo rides. I’m 5’3 so anyone can ride a big bagger. Enjoy and treat her well😁
If you breeze thru the beginner course and the bike you used in the class feels like a toy, and you're willing to spend a few hours in a parking lot on whatever bike you buy, then get whatever you like. If the answer to the above is no, then get a 300 cc bike to learn on.

I've only seen a few bikes that were that cheap or not much more and those need some serious work. Great deal you got and great detail job.
Jerry looks awesome for the price, you can export them to Australia and make a living off them😊
