My family is from Edinburg. My great-grandparents came here LEGALLY, worked hard, raised 9 kids, all the boys served in the military and all went on to be successful and productive citizens. My grandpa worked for Shell oil company until he retired in the 80s. One of my uncles was actually the mayor of a small town called Premont, close to Edinburg, as a republican! The majority of my family are conservatives and most of them still live in that area of South Texas. This is proof that every state must have voter laws to keep this shit from happening!! Yesterday, I had an appointment with a new physician. So, I decided to try an experiment....
The front desk asked to see AND scan my medical insurance card AND driver's license. (Which I'm okay with because it reduces insurance fraud.)
