Two answers on creatures glitching through blocks. 1. Some creatures' sizes vary ever slightly to allow stuff like jumping or even demon eye flying movement to vertically clip into blocks. 2. Lag. Yep, literally just lag letting something phase through for a moment before the game usually corrects it. That is how the zombie jumped up through two blocks under you, it lagged and drifted through for a moment. Terraria: even co-op is somehow harder.
54:50 try the “achievements in order” run - you’re only allowed to get the achievement shown in the top right of the inventory screen. You’ll find a whole new set of things to rage about (pinkies mainly)!
14:50 When they pass through 2 blocks again and you die, you can call BS. Create new Players, join the server, collect the lost items, and continue the world. Because bad collision detection of this kind is not fair
Maybe for a new series idea, you could play terraria at 10x speed. I feel like you'd use a pretty similar strategy, but the progression would be much faster since *everything* (including mining and attacking) is way faster
Haven't quite finished the video, so maybe y'all figured this out, but how about an air gap to help deal with the mobs-glitching-through-walls issue? A wall, then a couple blocks of empty space, then another wall. Hopefully they'll just glitch into the air gap.

just wanna say, i suffered just as much trying to start watching the video 😂😂😂😂. youtube is doing _Fun_ new thing where instead of farming side ads and claiming "you have an ad blocker on reload to fix the problem" and automatically reloading the page, or if it's a playlist. load the side ad then auto play to the next video, and just keep doing that all the way through the playlist if i don't stop it. it now gives me 2 (sometimes 3) unskippable ads, no matter the length, so instead of going "oh it says 10 seconds. i can wait 10 seconds" then it loads the second ad (99% of the time, but i obviously haven't gone that far many times) that's a 2:11 minute ad about this wonderful new ad blocker that will work on youtube, or some other long ass ad. so i just gotta refresh till it actually just plays the video. this scummy sketchy bullshit trying to force people to buy premium to get away from tv length ad breaks before every single 10ish minute video segments is annoying
Good lord, that's atrocious. I can imagine how horrible that would be, especially with videos that have midroll ads in it as well and just unable to skip it sounds like hell.
