Your dad telling you to "have fun." This is the best advice ever. It keeps you grounded and takes the pressure off (which frees your mind to perform). Great drive.
Tanner. That was some impressive driving young man! You ran so many different lines to weave your way through traffic, and you were up on the wheel making it happen. I liked the bump and run you put on the leader on that last turn too. I see a real competitor in you Tanner. That fire in your belly is what it's all about kid; now keep up the good work.
Congratulations!!! That was really fun to watch.. With more time & experience and you become smoother on the brakes & steering wheel... Shoot, You will be Lapping the dang field!!! Good Luck this season kid... 🏁🏆🏁😉💯
I know I just left three comments; but I’ve never teared up watching another person drive to the front before. Perfect through traffic. Patient in one/two on the final lap and on the fucking GAS on the top of three and four. It couldn’t have been done better. You could tell you had your dads words in the back of your head the whole time because I did too. “Just another kart race”
I’m confused on restart where you said your were 2nd but like 4 something cars in front, someone please explains this to me, this is different then what we do.
I assume the big bump when passing for 7th was the other car you were going under. Track was a little rough up top but that where the speed was. Leaving lapped cars in position for restarts a local rule?
Okay, not knowing much about dirt racing, what's he consistently reaching for with his left hand? And is it normal for the left front to flop around like a limp noodle?
Oh wow, I had no idea! Another quick question, reaching up for tear offs, did you kiss grabbing one off a bunch of times or does mud really just cake it that fast? That's wild. Driving skill is absolutely on point!
Hell, I'm impressed with the 4 wheels in the fluff, wing adjustment, and pull a tear off all in one straightaway 👍

Will do, I appreciate that!
Holy shit that double- under pick for second using traffic was BEAUTIFUL. Subscribed after that pass.
I love how close Carly and Tanner are
Shes coming for him in a few years!

Living a dream through yalls videos
. Thank yall
Great job you passed more cars that anyone you were up on the wheel.
The confluence of great skill and opportunity for an amazing drive! What a lesson in patience!
Outstanding wheel work!

Small wing adjustment at 6:50. Cool under pressure. Great ride!
That was sick bud!! Pick em up and put em down!! Nice luck with lapped traffic at the end too!!

From the folks that slide sideways..that was impressive to say the least..go Tanner.
That was awesome! Great job👍😁
Proud of you Tanner
Bro that was a awesome drive

They leave lap car in between. So if the leader laps a car, they stay in line.
Oh ok that’s a little different lol
Thanks!
“Just another go kart race”.
I have to meet this kid one of these days
What adjustment are you making when you reach to the left?
he is moving top wing forward and backward. he was moving it back until about 4 to go then moved it way up.
@@chriswebb1111 I figured, just wasn't sure.
Awesome. Tanner

Yes that is a Northwest rule. And that was a bump, track was rough for the feature!
Why on restart were you in 5th and there was 10-15 cars ahead of you?
What a drive 👌🏻
In 2nd but have to restart 5th, tough format.
Lap traffic.
Dad said it best.....just a go cart race
Why did you say you were currently 2nd but on the restart there were like 4 cars ahead of you
Lapped cars...
Lapped cars!
Wow!! 🤙
Hey bud hope you had a great day
What chassis do you run? 🐐
Kpc.
@@tannerholmesonboards Thanks buddy.
Okay, not knowing much about dirt racing, what's he consistently reaching for with his left hand? And is it normal for the left front to flop around like a limp noodle?
I believe he was adjusting the wing with his left hand. The wings are hydraulic.
This is a wing slider. So when I move it forward, the wing slides forward and loosens up the car. When I move it back, it tightens up the car.
Oh wow, I had no idea! Another quick question, reaching up for tear offs, did you kiss grabbing one off a bunch of times or does mud really just cake it that fast? That's wild. Driving skill is absolutely on point!
Turn 2.. 😒 hard on cranks and driveline
Nice run.. back out.. go for a ride!!
