I had the same problem. I ending up sinning and masturbating almost every day. But one day the Holy Spirit made me pick a radical decision: I chose to end up a friendship that made me sin (as well as I made him sin), end pornography and masturbation. Months after, I'm growing in Christ and I feel joyful in Him. Break the masturbation chains! God is with you.

Bible is clear that the only way to get into God’s perfect heaven is to be as perfect (pure and sinless), as God Himself (Matthew 5:20, 48; Luke 18:18-22). Even if you sin only once in your whole life, you have broken all of God’s law, just as breaking one link in a chain breaks the whole chain (James 2:10). God’s perfect justice means that every sin must be punished. That penalty is death in the form of eternal separation from God in hell (Exodus 32:33). No human can meet God’s perfect standard, so without a supernatural Savior to rescue us, we are all lost sinners (Acts 15:10; Romans 3:9-23). God loves you and wants to rescue you from hell (John 3:16; 2 Peter 3:9). Thomas Dickensheets amen! The only thing I would change n this comment is that Jesus’s blood doesn’t cover our sins, it takes them away completely. Here are some interesting things I’ve come to understand recently: the Old Testament atonement covered sins temporarily. Jesus came to take away the sin of the world, and He was set forth as a *propitiation* meaning God’s wrath is 100% satisfied and He will never forsake one of His children. The atonements made by animal blood of course was much weaker and only covered sins.
God gave you a new heart and new spirit upon salvation!! He made your heart pure. So anything that is good, or righteous, or holy, you love at the core of your being.

I’ve struggled with cursing and masturbation since I was a preteen. After giving my life to Christ, I stopped but started back when my wilderness experience started. I was upset with God because I was struggling with other things and could not get a grasp on life. I would pray to God to help me with those sins, but I never put any effort into stopping those sins. I had a serious talk with God recently and once I reflected on my life, I felt so bad that I wasn’t exemplifying the Life of Christ. To myself I thought, how am I going to share the Word and I’m not living it out? Now, I’m spending more time in the Word, memorizing scripture, and being more attentive about what I’m feeding my mind. It’s a struggle but I know I’ll get through it. Thanks for this video!

Renee, you are not alone. I struggle with the same, along with those little "white lies". For quite a while I was upset with God as well because I hated, and I mean !!HATED!!, my sinful actions. I didn't have the strength to stop and part of me blamed God for not stepping in but the whole time he was telling me how to solve my problem I just wouldn't listen. I still struggle and that little voice pops up in my head every time "don't do it", occasionally I do it anyway and I feel terrible afterward. Staying in the word keeps me from those serious temptations but if I put the bible down for any more than a day I find myself quickly in trouble

For those of you struggling with sin out there DON'T GIVE UP!! one thing i like to tell myself that helps me is when your facing great temptation it means your walking the path OUT of hell and to heaven in the arms of our lord and savior, and the reason why your struggling so hard is because hell doesn't wanna give you up and their putting in more effort to tempt you back.

I’m struggling with envy and the use of profanity in my mind. I also take advantage of the Lord’s grace and mercy and forgiveness. This is a punch in my gut and I’m so ashamed and I feel so dirty. I now know what I need to do. I need to sit down, humble myself, and confess my sins. Then I need to repent of these sins, cry to the Lord, and accept His forgiveness. @@nuambawi9872 it’s not too late. The fact that you want to repent should be a good sign to you. That doesn’t come from you. Us wanting to repent does not come from us. It comes from God and his grace. Our repentance is another gift of grace, because alone we would still be trapped in the flesh. Keep repenting and confessing your sins. I need to repent and confess my sins myself. I’m not gonna live in willful sin anymore. I’m gonna push and overcome this in Jesus Name. Don’t give up
I prayed for you. I believe that the Lord our GOD will heal you. If you believe that He can and is able then He will make a way, and for sure heal you. Fast and pray and just trust in Him because He is able to do exceedingly great things as well as come into your life. But you have to want that desire for Him to be in your life and you have to want to follow Him no matter the mountain you have to climb. Deep in your heart my friend focus on the Lord. I struggle with the same thing. For me the 1st step was confessing my sin to my mom because it’s something I’ve been hiding for her. I actually told her about it today actually. I pray that you God removes the desire. God bless you
Jesus has given us common sense as well as other humans to help. He doesn't always help by a miracle. Sometimes He wants us to go through human channels, such as getting help from our doctor or any health services in your area dedicated to help you quit using patches or gum or counselling etc... Please use these services. Do it for the Lord and for your health. You need your lungs strong, specially in these times.

Its hard living in christ as the realities become clear and things we previously thought was normal was sin the whole time... then the world is against you. Stay strong
Amen! I used to think that lust was just a normal part of male human life and all men did it. But lust is actually a sin. I also really liked hip hop music but later realized that the lyrics of those songs are not of god. I moved away from my previous lifestyle and I currently am trying to get closer and create a personal relationship with god🙏🏼. I still struggle with lust unfortunately but with gods strength I can overcome anything
Please pray for me. I rededicated my life in 2019. Truthfully, I believe that's when I gave my whole heart. There's one sin that I am struggling with. I smoke a pipe. I have felt very convicted about this. I need the Lord's deliverance from this. I would like to glorify him and share the gospel. However, I cannot be a hypocrite and live with this daily sin anymore. I have prayed numerous times and I have struggled so much with this. Now I'm reaching out to the body of Christ. The sanctification process has been quick in some areas and a daily struggle in other areas. However, I continue to pray that the Lord continues his work in my heart, as so I can reach other people that have been where I have been. Thank you.
You know, I’m dealing with my pornography issue and what helps me is fasting from food( it doesn’t have to be days at a time) I skip breakfast Currently like 2 times a week and it significantly increased my tolerance. Before fasting I was able to go 3 days sober but with fasting and praying I’m able to go 6 days (which is a major improvement to me) so just try that! And I’ll be praying for ya✝️❤️🙏🏽

It's good to be within a church community cause those who may hv a similar experience / more spiritually mature can guide u & pray for u~ Keep doing what u r doing & use God to replace what ur sin had occupied before. Rebuke temptations in Jesus's name & claim victory over them! Also be patient w the progress. God allows certain areas to be more difficult to overcome for a purpose. Keep trusting & leaning on Him & u _will_ see a victory!

It actually kills me inside. I have been doing pretty good fighting lust, anger, hating on others who insult me. But I just can't stop smoking Marijuana. Throughout my Christian fight, I have fully come to understand that this one is my hardest to fight. I literally do it everyday, and its not even because I just enjoy it. Its a habitual process that has engrained itself in me. Its like my heart is trying to hang onto that last sin that is just imbedded in me.. It absolutely kills me both physically and metaphorically.

My opinion the ALMIGHTY knows you’re not sincere in wanting to stop what you’re doing, we only can walk the path that was chosen for us if we truly want to from within. With my experience He took all that from me because I truly wanted to change and I didn’t want to look back on who I was on all the things that don’t please Him He took those desires from me and it didn’t happen over time it happen when He woke me up from slumber. The FATHER knows when the desires of our flesh is stronger than the desires for Him. When we sincerely choose Him he walks with us His Spirit is what dwells in us and is our guide to stay on the right path. you have a sense of peace calmness . If it’s not about LOVE and RIGHTEOUSNESS in your life it’s not about the ALMIGHTY FATHER.. Empty yourself let go of the ego make up your mind to be a son or daughter of the MOST HIGH ALMIGHTY and the person you once were will be no more. For me if it wasn’t this flesh I would have thought I was a new person. For almost 3 years this is the Most peaceful faithful person joyful I’ve ever been even when I go though financial situations, and without family or friends around . I have been struggling with same-sex attraction since middle school. I'm a college graduate now and the lord provided me with a home and a job. But I still feel guilt and unworthiness for continually fantasizing in that sin every single day. I know it's wrong and I need help in resisting and repenting from it. Prayers for me please.

As Christians we tend to lie to ourselves and wonder why we keep giving into certain sins. The truth and the problem is we don’t truly believe. We aren’t and have not been truly saved . We lie to ourselves and believe because we prayed a prayer, we were saved. No! Salvation only comes to those who deeply and genuinely repent for their sins and true repentance only comes when we are desperate for the Lord. I spent 8 hours reading my Bible yesterday because I had been struggling with alcohol and pornography 4 years after being “saved” The truth is, I was choosing sin and acting like I wasn’t strong enough to overcome the temptations. I’m here to tell you, once I truly repented and begged God to save me, those desires were immediately removed from my life. True salvation leads to Obedience!

I’ve been dealing with sins like gossip, anger, selfishness, and other things like that. Before i became a Christian I did those things way too often so it’s been very hard to repent of. Do you guys have any advice?
when you catch yourself talking about other people just get out of the conversation when your angry , remember god is slow to anger when you feel selfish , remember that god is all loving and giving
I would say to surround yourself with Christ minded people and confess to them. I would also recommend observing what situations may cause you to want to do those things. By any means necessary avoid those things and most of all be patient. Hand in there and don’t give up in seeking to do what’s right. Tbh I’ve been struggling more because I haven’t been consistent in prayer and reading the word and I’ve been surrounded by unbelievers which is good because I’ve been able to talk about Christ but also is negative because I’ve seen complacency in my heart which is dangerous. I’ve been around them for projects I’ve been working on. But try to regularly connect with other believers that are mature or strong in the areas that you’re weak in. Also, with gossip what I try to do is stop the gossip in myself and redirect the conversation when someone starts gossiping about others
Demonic oppression. I had it for years . You need to CALL ON JESUS. Ask him to help you turn away from sin and to cleanse the demons out! You gotta repent, listen to the Holy Spirit. Look up exorcism prayers. Clean your life out. The devil will flee once you fully submit to God. God bless you

Then one day the thought occurred to me, "maybe you feel like a chew toy because you've been treating the devil like a pet". That sobered me up real quick. Be killing sin or it'll be killing you.

I’m definitely struggling in quite a few of these and even caught myself being PRIDEFUL saying “well thank goodness I don’t have all of these checked off” I immediately felt convicted of pride for that! I have a lot of work to do obviously. I want to be continuously corrected and convicted because I don’t want to live a second without Jesus and for sure don’t want Our Beautiful Father to deny me! As a Spirit-filled Christian, I RELY "TOTALLY" On The Holy Spirit to lead and guide me EVERY second of my life . I "used" to be afraid that if I ask The Holy Spirit's Purpose And Direction, I would wind up somewhere that I would hate !! HOWEVER Folks; I am here to tell you that if you "continually" walk In The Holy Spirit; the sins you "used" to do, will no longer control you. In fact, I am at a point right now where I have actually let "satin" into my life, every time I sinned, and he would reek horrible havok in my life !! It was The Holy Spirit "Protecting" me from satan and his evil in my life! I have had a AWESOME vision from The Holy Spirit, and HE Has grown me so much (but in a loving way), for the past nearly 3 years, that sin is no longer an option, if I want to enjoy HIS Plan And Purpose specifically chosen for me !! Do this today, Brothers and Sisters. Remember this; the more you sin, you are just allowing more of satin to come in to your life, and DESTROY YOU !!

It's very normal to feel guilt after you sin that the Holy Spirit within you letting you no what you have done was wrong try and distant yourself from what causes you to sin ☺️

You can do it! You have God on your side and he gives you the strength to overcome! Don't focus on what you're giving up, but look at what you will be gaining 😄😄😄 just think about how renewed and happy you will feel when you give up all sin and start walking more with the Spirit! And how alive you will feel while walking with God and following Jesus Christ! And think about how happy you'll feel in Heaven where there is no sadness and no hunger and you are able to bask in the light of the Sun ( and the honor of being with God and Jesus ) without being affected by the Sun's heat. For me I have been trying to make excuses to justify my sin, although even in those attempts I am experiencing conviction. This gives me hope that I am not far gone and I am just struggling and I just need to draw closer to God and fight against the temptation of sin.

I know some so called Christians in my life that are exactly like this.😞 it makes me sad because I think for sure at least 2 of them aren't actually saved . I'm pretty much the opposite of this and I even tried to tell one of them similar things that you said but people get very defensive. One of them deleted me completely off everything. I just want to make sure that the people closest to me that claim christ and christianity are actually saved . I tried tho . A lot of people have the wrong idea of what being a actual born again Christian is. A lot of people had a religious upbringing but they don't have Jesus. I've only been officially saved for about a year but I also have very good discernment and I can tell .

I decided to break an object that was constantly causing me to sin and I told god I’m sorry for what I did I just felt in my heart like it was the right thing to do so the demons that were connected to that object no longer would bother me anymore and they wouldnt be coming near anybody else
Recently I haave had my heart broken and since then I was frustrated and sad ..the last couple of months I ve cried myself to sleep everynight and still the anger I feel that I was a fool and he played me so easily makes me want to have fun in ungodly ways.please pray for me so I may not have a hardened heart

So I occasionally make plans to sin and I sin quite a bit, I’ve fallen into this slump recently and I’m really struggling with that war between flesh and spirit. I do however feel remorse when I sin, I guess I subconsciously presume the grace of God, but I don’t encourage others to sin. I have done that but not at all regularly, I aim to point people in the right direction. Help me out please brother
I relate heavily with you especially the planning to sin. It’s like I want to stop but I enjoy sinning. It’s bad but only Jesus Christ can help us. We need to surrender to Him and deny ourselves every single day.
all believers have seasons like that. Even Paul spoke about this struggle in Romans chapter 7. The Lord knows your struggle, the conviction in your heart proves the He is faithful...even when we are not.😇🤗
I am super grateful I came across this video. I have Christian friends that said they kept going back to sinning the same old sin again & again & gave the excuse that we are all fallen people so it bounce to happen and besides as long as we have been baptized and accepted Jesus as our Lord & Savior, His grace will redeem us no matter what & in the end we would still be saved. Going on sinning is not the plan for someone who has turned to God (turned away from sin). So, "living in sin" or "struggling with sin" highlight the same fundamental problem of sinning that goes on. I think this video is deceptive in making "just struggling with sin" appear as some kind of safe zone. When repentance is left out of what is preached or it's twisted somehow, then that is why your friends can have a sin-friendly attitude and believe what they do. I’ve just realised I am. Thanks for this video. I’m so ashamed that even when I want to watch Christian videos I feel impure and unholy. But it’s true tho. How can I watch these videos with other Christian’s preaching the truth when I myself am not living it out? Also because it is convicting and calling me out too. And I don’t wanna hear it, but I need to. Please pray for me. I struggle in my walk because I’m so weak to face some things. I just want to come away from them. It’s my fault I put myself in that position (e.g friends with unbelievers, lying, sexual sin). I just really need the strength to stop them.
Your desires for the evils you do are more stronger than the desires you have for the ALMIGHTY SAVIOR seek Him from within and HIS SPIRIT that lives in you will guide you to the path he has set before you. He already knows the path He predestined for you but it’s up to you to find that path. Because it’s either you swim or sink. Ask yourself is what you’re doing making you happy are you at peace. This world happiness is temporary if it’s not making you happy then that’s not where you need to be. With the ALMIGHTY GOD there is no weakness. De'quan Rogers i think you have a misunderstanding of those verses. When we repent it is LIKE we never sinned in the eyes of God, but that doesnt mean we havent, or that we wont. God’s forgiveness is just so powerful it can wash away our sin, but we are all still sinners. If we had to be genuinely perfect to get into heaven then Christ’s grace wouldnt be grace and also his sacrifice wouldn’t mean anything, because we would be able to achieve perfection on our own. His death doesnt affect if I sin, only the grace, mercy, and forgiveness a sinner like me can get. When i say it doesnt affect if I sin i mean i dont mean He provides a difference mindset, worldview, or desire, I just mean that those things make it impossible to be sinless completely and totally
@@wynn2325 grace is the forgiveness we dont deserve for are sin or sins from jesus once we repent. You will not receive grace until you repent. Repent means confess your sin or sins ask for forgiveness then choose to turn from your sin or sins wich means choose not to continue to sin. Again (1 john 3:9 niv ). only sinners continue to sin not someone who is born of God.
I know this is a little old and nobody will see it, but thank you for this video. And for those struggling, here is some of my story to maybe help you. I have been struggling with masturbation and porn addiction for years now. It started when I was 12 or so and so quickly became a coping mechanism for dealing with trauma from early childhood. Now almost 30 with God, I am slowly working through the emotions I never let myself feel and while there are up's and downs I can see that progress has been made. And even though I feel like God is going to abandon me at times, I know He never will, and He will finish the work that He started in me. So keep fighting, don't give up, abide in Him, and He will abide in you.
From what you've said im still a Christian struggling in sin but ive made bad mistakes. But i always turn to God for my strength, help and just someone to talk to.

I had the same problem. I ending up sinning and masturbating almost every day. But one day the Holy Spirit made me pick a radical decision: I chose to end up a friendship that made me sin (as well as I made him sin), end pornography and masturbation. Months after, I'm growing in Christ and I feel joyful in Him.

Bible is clear that the only way to get into God’s perfect heaven is to be as perfect (pure and sinless), as God Himself (Matthew 5:20, 48; Luke 18:18-22). Even if you sin only once in your whole life, you have broken all of God’s law, just as breaking one link in a chain breaks the whole chain (James 2:10). Thomas Dickensheets amen! The only thing I would change n this comment is that Jesus’s blood doesn’t cover our sins, it takes them away completely. Here are some interesting things I’ve come to understand recently: the Old Testament atonement covered sins temporarily. Jesus came to take away the sin of the world, and He was set forth as a *propitiation* meaning God’s wrath is 100% satisfied and He will never forsake one of His children. The atonements made by animal blood of course was much weaker and only covered sins.
God gave you a new heart and new spirit upon salvation!! He made your heart pure. So anything that is good, or righteous, or holy, you love at the core of your being.

I’ve struggled with cursing and masturbation since I was a preteen. After giving my life to Christ, I stopped but started back when my wilderness experience started. I was upset with God because I was struggling with other things and could not get a grasp on life. I would pray to God to help me with those sins, but I never put any effort into stopping those sins. I had a serious talk with God recently and once I reflected on my life, I felt so bad that I wasn’t exemplifying the Life of Christ. To myself I thought, how am I going to share the Word and I’m not living it out? Now, I’m spending more time in the Word, memorizing scripture, and being more attentive about what I’m feeding my mind. It’s a struggle but I know I’ll get through it. Thanks for this video!

Renee, you are not alone. I struggle with the same, along with those little "white lies". For quite a while I was upset with God as well because I hated, and I mean !!HATED!!, my sinful actions. I didn't have the strength to stop and part of me blamed God for not stepping in but the whole time he was telling me how to solve my problem I just wouldn't listen. I still struggle and that little voice pops up in my head every time "don't do it", occasionally I do it anyway and I feel terrible afterward. Staying in the word keeps me from those serious temptations but if I put the bible down for any more than a day I find myself quickly in trouble

@@nuambawi9872 it’s not too late. The fact that you want to repent should be a good sign to you. That doesn’t come from you. Us wanting to repent does not come from us. It comes from God and his grace. Our repentance is another gift of grace, because alone we would still be trapped in the flesh. Keep repenting and confessing your sins.

Sometimes He wants us to go through human channels, such as getting help from our doctor or any health services in your area dedicated to help you quit using patches or gum or counselling etc... Grace is the forgiveness we dont deserve for are sin or sins from Jesus Christ the one who is Lord and God (john 20:28 NIV) once we repent. You will not receive grace until you repent jesus did not die for us to remain as sinners. Repent means confess your sin or sins to jesus then ask him for forgiveness then choose to turn from your sin or sins wich means choose not to continue to sin. (1 john 3:9 niv ). only sinners continue to sin not someone who is born of God. Being born of God means your a child of God. Only Christians who chose to now be a child of God and no longer remain a sinner will enter Heaven, Christians who choose to remain as sinners will be cast into Hell (Matthew 7:21-23 ESV). (1 john 3:4 ESV says "sin is lawlessness"). Only sinners are workers of lawlessness not children of God. Children of God won't continue to sin (1 John 3:9 NIV). Accept the truth or reject it your choice.

I also really liked hip hop music but later realized that the lyrics of those songs are not of god. I moved away from my previous lifestyle and I currently am trying to get closer and create a personal relationship with god🙏🏼. I still struggle with lust unfortunately but with gods strength I can overcome anything
Please pray for me. I rededicated my life in 2019. Truthfully, I believe that's when I gave my whole heart. There's one sin that I am struggling with. I smoke a pipe. I have felt very convicted about this. I need the Lord's deliverance from this. I would like to glorify him and share the gospel. However, I cannot be a hypocrite and live with this daily sin anymore. I have prayed numerous times and I have struggled so much with this. Now I'm reaching out to the body of Christ. The sanctification process has been quick in some areas and a daily struggle in other areas. However, I continue to pray that the Lord continues his work in my heart, as so I can reach other people that have been where I have been. Thank you.

You know, I’m dealing with my pornography issue and what helps me is fasting from food( it doesn’t have to be days at a time) I skip breakfast Currently like 2 times a week and it significantly increased my tolerance. Before fasting I was able to go 3 days sober but with fasting and praying I’m able to go 6 days (which is a major improvement to me) so just try that! And I’ll be praying for ya✝️❤️🙏🏽

It actually kills me inside. I have been doing pretty good fighting lust, anger, hating on others who insult me. But I just can't stop smoking Marijuana. Throughout my Christian fight, I have fully come to understand that this one is my hardest to fight. I literally do it everyday, and its not even because I just enjoy it. Its a habitual process that has engrained itself in me.
Its like my heart is trying to hang onto that last sin that is just imbedded in me.. It absolutely kills me both physically and metaphorically.

My opinion the ALMIGHTY knows you’re not sincere in wanting to stop what you’re doing, we only can walk the path that was chosen for us if we truly want to from within. With my experience He took all that from me because I truly wanted to change and I didn’t want to look back on who I was on all the things that don’t please Him He took those desires from me and it didn’t happen over time it happen when He woke me up from slumber.
The FATHER knows when the desires of our flesh is stronger than the desires for Him. When we sincerely choose Him he walks with us His Spirit is what dwells in us and is our guide to stay on the right path.
you have a sense of peace calmness . If it’s not about LOVE and RIGHTEOUSNESS in your life it’s not about the ALMIGHTY FATHER.. Empty yourself let go of the ego make up your mind to be a son or daughter of the MOST HIGH ALMIGHTY and the person you once were will be no more. I have been struggling with same-sex attraction since middle school. I'm a college graduate now and the lord provided me with a home and a job. As Christians we tend to lie to ourselves and wonder why we keep giving into certain sins. The truth and the problem is we don’t truly believe. We aren’t and have not been truly saved . We lie to ourselves and believe because we prayed a prayer, we were saved. No! Salvation only comes to those who deeply and genuinely repent for their sins and true repentance only comes when we are desperate for the Lord. I spent 8 hours reading my Bible yesterday because I had been struggling with alcohol and pornography 4 years after being “saved”
The truth is, I was choosing sin and acting like I wasn’t strong enough to overcome the temptations. I’m here to tell you, once I truly repented and begged God to save me, those desires were immediately removed from my life. True salvation leads to Obedience!

You have to get to the root of those sin
I would say to surround yourself with Christ minded people and confess to them. I would also recommend observing what situations may cause you to want to do those things. By any means necessary avoid those things and most of all be patient. Hand in there and don’t give up in seeking to do what’s right. Tbh I’ve been struggling more because I haven’t been consistent in prayer and reading the word and I’ve been surrounded by unbelievers which is good because I’ve been able to talk about Christ but also is negative because I’ve seen complacency in my heart which is dangerous. I’ve been around them for projects I’ve been working on. But try to regularly connect with other believers that are mature or strong in the areas that you’re weak in. Also, with gossip what I try to do is stop the gossip in myself and redirect the conversation when someone starts gossiping about others
Lean on God’s amazing grace to help you defeat it and staying away from situations that encourage those things. Hopefully it helps you ❤️

*"Be perfect" Matthew **5:48** NIV a commandment said by jesus(God)*. Perfect Christians exist and they are not "Gods" there is only 1 God. They are his children. Jesus christ is *Lord and God *John **20:28** NIV* he is love and wrath. He died then resurrected he is now alive again and will come back. Jesus did not die for us to REMAIN as sinners. Your a sinner or a child of God, make a choice. Also all sin you do is *willfull* sin because to sin is a choice and so is to not sin. *Example* yes eve was deceived but she still wilfully sinned because she could of listened to jesus and not satan but she chose satan over obeying jesus *Genesis 3:3 NIV*. Then satan used eve to get Adam to sin wich he did by his choice to *Genesis 3:17 ESV and was her CHOICE to try and get him to sin. Eve could of chosen NOT to give the fruit to Adam but she didn't *Genesis 3:12 ESV*.
*Only perfect Christians* are children of God and will enter *the kingdom of Heaven* and live forever. *Not perfect* Christians will be cast into the lake of fire *(Hell)* and die the fire will kill them and they will no longer exist because they are *Sinners* (Matthew 7:21-23 ESV) (1 John 3:4 ESV) "sin is lawlessness", only sinners are workers of lawlessness not children of God. You can do it! You have God on your side and he gives you the strength to overcome! Don't focus on what you're giving up, but look at what you will be gaining 😄😄😄 just think about how renewed and happy you will feel when you give up all sin and start walking more with the Spirit! And how alive you will feel while walking with God and following Jesus Christ! And think about how happy you'll feel in Heaven where there is no sadness and no hunger and you are able to bask in the light of the Sun ( and the honor of being with God and Jesus ) without being affected by the Sun's heat. You can do it!!! 💗💖💟💝💛❤️
For me I have been trying to make excuses to justify my sin, although even in those attempts I am experiencing conviction. This gives me hope that I am not far gone and I am just struggling and I just need to draw closer to God and fight against the temptation of sin.

I know some so called Christians in my life that are exactly like this.😞 it makes me sad because I think for sure at least 2 of them aren't actually saved . I'm pretty much the opposite of this and I even tried to tell one of them similar things that you said but people get very defensive. One of them deleted me completely off everything. I just want to make sure that the people closest to me that claim christ and christianity are actually saved . I tried tho . A lot of people have the wrong idea of what being a actual born again Christian is. A lot of people had a religious upbringing but they don't have Jesus. I've only been officially saved for about a year but I also have very good discernment and I can tell .

I decided to break an object that was constantly causing me to sin and I told god I’m sorry for what I did I just felt in my heart like it was the right thing to do so the demons that were connected to that object no longer would bother me anymore and they wouldnt be coming near anybody else

kept going back to sinning the same old sin again & again & gave the excuse that we are all fallen people so it bounce to happen and besides as long as we have been baptized and accepted Jesus as our Lord & Savior, His grace will redeem us no matter what & in the end we would still be saved. This less than 13 mins video has truly opened my eyes & ears further & most importantly gave me a better perspective on how to respond should I encounter such ‘Christians’ in the future👍🏼

Going on sinning is not the plan for someone who has turned to God (turned away from sin). So, "living in sin" or "struggling with sin" highlight the same fundamental problem of sinning that goes on. I think this video is deceptive in making "just struggling with sin" appear as some kind of safe zone. When repentance is left out of what is preached or it's twisted somehow, then that is why your friends can have a sin-friendly attitude and believe what they do. I hope that adds something to your perspective.

I’ve just realised I am. Thanks for this video. I’m so ashamed that even when I want to watch Christian videos I feel impure and unholy. But it’s true tho. How can I watch these videos with other Christian’s preaching the truth when I myself am not living it out?
Also because it is convicting and calling me out too. And I don’t wanna hear it, but I need to. Please pray for me. I struggle in my walk because I’m so weak to face some things. I just want to come away from them. It’s my fault I put myself in that position (e.g friends with unbelievers, lying, sexual sin). I just really need the strength to stop them.

I admit I'm living in habitual sin its hard fr. However there's nothing God can't do pray for me if you want and others who are living in habitual sin🙏💯

De'quan Rogers i think you have a misunderstanding of those verses. When we repent it is LIKE we never sinned in the eyes of God, but that doesnt mean we havent, or that we wont. God’s forgiveness is just so powerful it can wash away our sin, but we are all still sinners. If we had to be genuinely perfect to get into heaven then Christ’s grace wouldnt be grace and also his sacrifice wouldn’t mean anything, because we would be able to achieve perfection on our own. His death doesnt affect if I sin, only the grace, mercy, and forgiveness a sinner like me can get. When i say it doesnt affect if I sin i mean i dont mean He provides a difference mindset, worldview, or desire, I just mean that those things make it impossible to be sinless completely and totally
@@wynn2325 grace is the forgiveness we dont deserve for are sin or sins from jesus once we repent. You will not receive grace until you repent. Repent means confess your sin or sins ask for forgiveness then choose to turn from your sin or sins wich means choose not to continue to sin. Again (1 john 3:9 niv ). only sinners continue to sin not someone who is born of God.

I know this is a little old and nobody will see it, but thank you for this video. And for those struggling, here is some of my story to maybe help you. I have been struggling with masturbation and porn addiction for years now. It started when I was 12 or so and so quickly became a coping mechanism for dealing with trauma from early childhood. Now almost 30 with God, I am slowly working through the emotions I never let myself feel and while there are up's and downs I can see that progress has been made. And even though I feel like God is going to abandon me at times, I know He never will, and He will finish the work that He started in me. So keep fighting, don't give up, abide in Him, and He will abide in you.
