Sorry, the video is too long but I hope it's helpful!
Are there any other topics related to the Netherlands that you would like to learn more about?
Thank you a lot, Dmitrii. I found this video helpful for me.
Glad it helped!
Thank you Dmitrii, your videos really help me, i wish you a good life
You too!
Thank you for the video!
My pleasure!
Thanks, this is very useful and I hadn't heard of Numbeo so I checked that out. I love the way your cycle and train everywhere, that's what we do and why wouldn't everyone🤷♂?
Nice! Glad it helped. The Numbeo is really useful.
I think most of the people I know in the Netherlands do this every day. In many other countries where I lived, it was simply dangerous.
Very useful thank you very much
Glad it helped!
Very beautiful video
Keep it going
Thanks!
Great video!
Thank you 🙏
Whoah, you have a beautiful appartment! Haveing to bicycle 30 minutes to the city center isn't that bad (unless it rains, LOL), also gives nice body exercise every day! Thanks for the video.
Thanks! We already moved out but it was nice apartment indeed.
Hi. Great video. I noticed you didn't change the cost of rent for a single person. Do you guys pay 1670 each or 1670 divided by the 2 of you?
Thanks!
I didn't because the cost of the rent is 1670 in total. So no matter how many people live in the apartment you'll pay 1670 :)
Dmitrii, thank you a lot for your video. Could you tell me where I can find a job, for myself? I'm experienced java developer. English is upper-intermediate level
Hey! Thanks for watching.
To be frank I haven't been looking for job for a while. But all people I know usually find it via linkedin.com
Hi, do you indicate website to check apartments for rent?
I have a separate video where I go through renting process in details including sharing websites for rent: ruclips.net/video/vOTXq7LgzaI/видео.html
Price of beer: A pint of European lager can cost as low as €0,80 (including statiegeld) at an ALDI. Compare that to €10 some premium cafe's dare to ask for the same amount of beer!
I just heard on TV that the tax on alcoholic beverages will be raised in 2024, some 15%!
That's correct. Mass produced lager usually doesn't cost anything. Especially if you buy in bulk like boxes or crates.
Craft beer on the other hand is quite expensive, starting at €4 per small can even at the store, and getting to €10 mark at the craft bars.
Correct, I read that alcohol duties are about 9% higher.
Well done. We would spend about the same. On the long run, you will have to include clothing, shoes, furniture etc. It might be cheaper not to have dental insurance and pay this out of the pocket if your teeth are not too bad. Living in a major city, you have access to quite frequent public transport. Living in more regional areas, you will spend less on rent but you will likely need a car. Finding housing is essential before moving to NL. Best investment if you remain in the Netherlands: Buy a house.
Yeah, purchases are different for everyone so I didn't included it. For my case, paying from the pocket would be way more expensive for dentist but it could be the case for some people. Agree about buying a house!
Good info; how much was your e-bike?
Thanks!
It's Cowboy 4 ST bikes, they usually cost around €3k but we got a nice promotion near NY for €2100.
Thank you for this information. In case we want to rent a department as soon we arrive to Netherlands..is there any advice you can help us with?
I have a separate video about renting in the Netherlands: ruclips.net/video/vOTXq7LgzaI/видео.html.
There's 0 possibility to rent without prove you're working already and can show like 3-6 months salary bank statement from. Previous months
That's incorrect. You don't need to show 3-6 months salary bank statement from the previous months. Only your contract.
@@dpashutskii what kind of the contract can have new immigrants who never been before in NL and without even BSN?
New immigrants require to get BSN number in 4 days after arrival. Work contract you're getting even before you move to the country. The contract types are the same as for everybody else. Who cares if you've been in NL if it's a work contract?
Whats the website for comparing?
Compare the costs of living by country? It's numbeo.com.
is that a Herman Miller chair in the background?
Good catch! It indeed is. Love this chair!
In Eschede how much is required for rent?
Enschede is much cheaper than The Hague, but I wouldn't expect it goes less than €800-1000. It's hard to find anything less than that anywhere in the Hague, unless it's the room.
You can check yourself some options on funda.nl. Just pick Enschede as the city.
how much is rent cost in eindhoven area?
You can check out www.funda.nl/en/ for rent prices in any area.
Hello Sir 👋
My name is Ogechukwu, I'm 32 years old and I'm from Delta State, Nigeria. I came across your RUclips page and I have a problem.
I graduated with HND in Civil Engineering from a Nigerian Polytechnic and I really want to know If I stand a chance of securing admission in one of the Universities in the Netherlands.
I'm really worried and I do not know what to do or how to go about it, I just want to know my fate and where I stand with my HND certificate.
I have been running around RUclips to find a solution but yet to solution until I came across your page and then decided to reach out to you, I'll patiently waiting for your response, thank you very much.

Hmmm, minimum wage as a general labour work you make like 2400 euro, me who is going to move there through job agency, probably gonna make 1800 euro a month or less, how the hell can a single person survive?
This is an entry salary for any career. It usually salary of the people who just graduated. They usually rent shared rooms and work on increasing their salary.
€1800 is, to be honest, ridiculously low salary for Holland, even for students. It depends on the area but I think average salary is around €2800.
@@dpashutskii well I'm getting a job through a job agency named Covebo, they told me weekly pay $450 euro, depends on the job, could be lower or could be higher.
It seems like some of those job agency take advantage from the fact that you're an expat. Why not just find the job yourself and use all your experience to land the same level position as you worked before? Unless of course, the skills are not transferable to another country.
Which city are you in Dimitiri.
On the moment of this video I was in The Hague but I moved to Zwolle.
Can you share some contact of rent or property rented company please
I didn't use them and don't know anybody who did, to be honest. You can check my video about renting, the process is pretty straightforward.
how much is ur salary ?
I am afraid it's a confidential info.
Gym &tennis
I didn't go to gym, I am a runner so it's free.
But I recently bought the tennis association membership. At least in Zwolle it costs €130 per year for unlimited access to pretty good courts.
Sehr Shön
Danke!
I spend 2000 a month living in Amsterdam
How much is your rent? 🤯
Are there black people there
Yep! I personally know a few people from Nigeria.
I even watch a few black RUclipsrs from the NL.
Even if you earn 100K, that rent in NL is way too much. Food, car, basic stuff is too expensive
I live very comfortably with way less. It always depends on specific person. There are people who earn millions and stay in debt.
If someone is earning 100k and has issues with money, I'd recommend getting into personal finance.
