That sounds awesome. I'm thinking of getting some low mount ones for my M750. Do you think they would sound the same as the high mounts? And did you put them on yourself?

cptnoremac Thanks. I think the low mounts should be similar, so long as it looks like a similar model. I've been very satisfied with these so far. I also like the fact that they are "adjustable", so I could potentially make them louder if I wanted to be obnoxious. These were just right without removing the optional baffles, however. I think it was a great buy compared to the other models out there. Yes, I did put them on myself. I'm fairly experienced mechanically, but I think anyone could do it. It didn't require many tools, I think just a set of metric Allen bits and a ratchet.

That's what I was hoping to hear. Thanks for your reply.

Sorry, one more question. Was this a complete set of pipes, or just bolt-on mufflers? Will I need to have the carbs rejetted? Okay, two questions.

cptnoremac I think it included a couple pipes. Whatever was in the kit was all that I needed; I did not have to source any parts elsewhere. My bike is injected, but I did NOT get it retuned. I would imagine that as long as you don't have any dead spots in your throttle response, you're probably OK not rejetting it.
