Thanks - good to watch a quick service/tune up. Other shimmy factors to consider: tail spring getting flat and not getting wheel straight when putting it down. I always wheel land.
Thanks for the details. I am building an Aviat Husky clone. Made the rudder a little larger than the factory and did not have the horn bars on the bottom for the tail wheel. Nice to be able to see them.
Very useful explanation! I just build aircraft models for Flight Simulation for 20 years.... This kind of explanation are gold for me, I uses that to get a picture about how to build several aircraft mechamism and the way it works. Right now I´m working on a C180 tailwheel performance, that is a bit different but still the explanation works for me... Tank you!

Put a Pawnee tailspring on my Super Cub and STOPPED the shimmy!!
