Boring and repetitive narration
This was a one time fling arranged by her sister to get revenge on her and her marriage. I would have given my wife a second chance due to the circumstances and that she was betrayed by her sister, an evil human being. Besides they loved each other.
She made her choice to not respect her husband's assertion that the cheating sister should be cut out of their lives.
She made the choice to enter into a situation she should never have been.
She made the choice to do what she did with them.
Forgiveness only benefits her, not him.
On the one hand, I understand the sentiment. They had been happy. They loved each other. She expressed genuine remorse. One time. On the other hand, bad company corrupts good morals. After proclaiming “once a cheater, always a cheater” when she thought it was her BIL, and after saying they would cut off the cheater completely, she kept hanging out with her sister. She made a deliberate choice to lie to her husband, to take off work, and to engage in a week of debauchery. It wasn’t a drunken ONS where she hadn’t been on the hunt, she was caught up in the moment and made bad decisions due to compromised cognitive function. She planned this. She schemed. She wanted this. She sought it out. At a minimum, she would have to cut contact with her promiscuous sister, completely and for all time. And still it would be hard to establish trust again due to all of the intentional actions.
You, sir, are a simp and part of the reason the relationship market is in the shape it's in. A fling is not a mistake, it's a series of bad decisions.
Total BS. NEVER take back a cheater, no matter the circumstances. First, she's proven to be able and willing to lie without hesitation or sign. However the real reason is she will ALWAYS remember the thrill that pushed her to do it in the first place. The regret, the pain it caused will fade in the memory but the thrill will only amplify. She WILL seek that thrill again, only next time she'll likely be more careful not to get caught.
