Fun fact : if you look to the right of the tunnel in 1:03:26 , you should see some empty space there, as that is planned to be a station that will open in the future. This is also seen by a station vacancy between DT5 Beauty World and DT3 Hillview.

Ay Ugly but thats not why the line is called Downtown Line tho... it's main purpose is to allow people to have a new and faster way to get to the downtown areas, and to connect people to places that aren't served by the MRT, easier connectivity.
Downtown Line Trains 1st Generation: (92) C951 (2013-2040) in future, all 92 C951 Trains will be replace by C951C 2nd Generation: (56) C951B (2029-2050) by 2050, all 56 C951B Trains will be replace by Kawasaki Nippon Sharyo Train 3rd Generation: (92) C951C (2036) 4th Generation: (56) Kawasaki Nippon Sharyo Train (2047)
Hope they"ll extend this line all the way to woodlands old checkpoint ->sembawang->seletar->Punngol coast and back to Tampines east :-) They could even further the line to changi general hospital ->tanah merah and then running along in between EWL and The future TEL and end at downtown station connecting back to the original Dtline haha
I don't think it is possible. LTA wouldn't have a line running between EWL and TEL since there are already many stations in the East Coast area, mainly on the TEL. So it will be stupid to have another line running in East Coast and Bedok South. As for the one going northbound into Woodlands, it could go into Woodlands Checkpoint, but sadly, Marsiling and Kranji are already replacing it. It could go into Sembawang, but, how? Since it shouldn't enter Woodlands Checkpoint! It will definitely not be entering Seletar, even if they found a way. For example: Passing through Mandai -> Singapore Zoo -> Nee Soon -> Yishun (or something like that) If they did that, they would still have to build a section of the line between the borders of Seletar and Simpang Yishun, which will be underwater. And not even a short section. Mind you, it is a good big 500m section, half of a kilo. Plus, there wouldn't be anything to serve in the Seletar area, apart of the Country Club, Seletar Airport, Seletar Aerospace. If they took the long way, it would add a good few 5-6 km. No way will they do that. + Lower Seletar Reservoir to add on to the craze!! For Punggol Coast, it would have to cross the borders of Punggol North, and cross a section underwater. 200m. And if it were to continue its service to Tampines East, it would technically be crossing through the borders of Pasir Ris West, and that means another underwater section. The underwater section that it will be crossing will actually be the Punggol Serangoon Reservoir, or Serangoon Reservoir. No way will they plan an MRT running through a reservoir. And it will then run along with the future Cross Island Line, before continuing its journey at Tampines East. hope you learnt something new. I mean, entering Mandai would be great!!
igzord Wth is wrong with your suggestion. Your suggestion is completely too irrelevant. You should be the one to build it if you want to. Not LTA’s problem.
*Why Singapore need to add so many stations not like other countries the train will just keep moving until like from Tampines to Bukit Panjang all the way without the other stations that will be more fun without the other stations*
...then might as well don't build the line? In other countries the population density is sparse enough to build stations far apart. However this cannot be said for Singapore.

SBS8562T-SBS8999S SBS5001R-SBS5252H actually three... in DTL2 there will (maybe) be a DT4 Hume
+Jay ASMR there will be because in the SMRT map there is no DT4
*are under construction
MRT still have song inside,I go to bukit panjang at 2013 years,I don't heard music inside
si ri Its available on sbs transit i think..
what speed are train traveling.?
Max 80km/h
Why is DTL fully underground?
Plus its called the Downtown Line for a reason they bring the train downtown and literally DOWNTOWN
Ay Ugly but thats not why the line is called Downtown Line tho... it's main purpose is to allow people to have a new and faster way to get to the downtown areas, and to connect people to places that aren't served by the MRT, easier connectivity.
in my opinion, its not considered as a line that us fully underground coz the depot itself is not underground.. 😉
Actually newer mrt lines arent that convenient either, buses can still rival the needs of commuters for downtown line and perhaps other lines
Singapore Rail Lines will almost be like London Underground.
I see DT4 Hume that’s a future station
Don't forget Dt 31 tampines west
DT4 Hume 1:03:26
wow
EXPO to BUKIT PANJANG
Why the train will be so noisy when stopping at a station?
Choy Yeb Kang The air con is actually very strong
And duh he is alone. If got people at least can hear soft talking
its the traction motors causing the "noise"
Is it just me or is the first two stations too close? Like why do you need so much stations lmao
Why not?
👍👍👍👍👍
Downtown Line Trains
1st Generation: (92) C951 (2013-2040) in future, all 92 C951 Trains will be replace by C951C
2nd Generation: (56) C951B (2029-2050) by 2050, all 56 C951B Trains will be replace by Kawasaki Nippon Sharyo Train
3rd Generation: (92) C951C (2036)
4th Generation: (56) Kawasaki Nippon Sharyo Train (2047)
All wrong
Downtown line trains does not use Kawasaki they use bombardier
First like
Downtown always underground
Why this train has many languages?
Ah Kin TV Singapore’s languages
Bcuz Singapore is a multiracial country and English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil are official languages.
Hope they"ll extend this line all the way to woodlands old checkpoint ->sembawang->seletar->Punngol coast and back to Tampines east :-)

igzord well the cross island line should cover for that
igzord And I’m thinking: Since Marina South Pier is close to sea, I recommend a second NSL extension - NS28 Marina South Pier » NS29 Pulau Ubin (lmao)
