Static Juice, it's good for non-red text snipers, but anything with bullet split suffers, since it greatly increases how far away bullet split occurs (which is based on bullet travel time, not distance). It means you have a much longer sweet-spot distance with the Lyuda, you don't get as much damage out of the Godfinger, you can't sweet-spot most enemies with the Pimpernel, and it may negatively affect some others, don't know them all off the top of my head.
It cracks me up how most of the people who cover the community patch seemingly refuse to give up their grog-Harold Salvador builds and proceed to complain about how the community patch doesn't change anything.

It's nice to see e-techs other than non Bandit plasma casters, Longbows or launchers being viable now. If e-tech returns in BL3, I hope they take influence from the patch, we don't want a repeat of a certain Dahl pistol, and a certain Bandit rifle.
The Moloko on Gaige is pretty fun to mess around with. If you have a shock build, The Bouncing bullets combined with the ridiculous fire rate and the nth degree can make for some pretty ridiculous bullet bouncing shenanigans.

Found a couple of these while leveling my reborn Maya, absolutely love them. Only disadvantage is I'm not finding enough of them :-P I do believe they also shoot through the physical shield that some of the bandits carry... If I'm not totally misremembering, I managed to crit them right through the shield which was awesome.
Now imagine what a non-elemental Jakobs E-Tech would look like and how it would hit like a huge train stuffed with oversized cargo trucks on steroids ... :D
You could also walk up to the power loaders, get them to do the hit animation and dodge it, then shoot the arm while it isn't spinning but yeah, shooting through the blades is effective, I guess
I feel these buffs make the E-Tech snipers a viable niche weapons for enemies with blocked critical spots (hyperion engineers, witch doctors, etc.). However, like Pete, it can't crit some enemies at all and this holds them back from being very good.
The pierce effect also don't knock goliath heads but crits instead. Plus because bore works by creating an other bullet with 2x dammage and they now pierce, it now duplicates the bullet with bore so you have an effective 300% dammage. But they seem to be harder to land crits on some ennemies like burners wich I used to test theses than some other rifles like sniders.
I have tried using e techs in the beatdown and concluded they cant crit burners. One thing especially weird I noticed is that burner enforcers (the dual wield charging enemies) lose their crit spot once their health is at a sliver. It's not just you.
so does that mean e-tech hyperion snipers will be the only viable hyperion snipers? Even with the invader patched it still seems like too much of an ammunition investment for above average damage output.
Found one of those Moloko's the first time I played the game. I never used a Vladof sniper before. Hated the gun, especially the fire rate, and it turned me off to wanting a Vladof weapon after that. Worked only Jacobs snipers on Zer0 up to OP6. Thanks to your vids I have thankfully transcended that ignorance.

In my opinion the best way to get the E-tech snipers is from the golden chest in Sanctuary because the E-tech rarity is technically purple and the golden chest only gives you purple

Honestly having a 2 round per shot sniper rifle would really suck just do the fact that in my game play as a sniper I can rarely ever find the ammo and when I'm actually near an ammo dump one of Marcus's machines for anybody who doesn't play he charges me through the roof for it

Remove your Hyperion e tech snipers scope on gibbed save editor and get a better version of the longbow with a straight fast moving projectile, I use it to create corrosive and shock versions of the longbow essentially!!
I can only imagine how the patched Railers/Molokos/Hybridizations deal with Zer0s B0re skill. With penetrating beams already, would a B0re shot from an E-Tech sniper be an order of magnitude greater than a more traditional B0re shot from something like a Pimpernel, a Lyuda, a Skullmasher? Can't wait to find out!
to avoid having to find the guns you are showing in the videos you can add a star next to it to make it easier to find if that helps or not i wouldn't know ^_^

Its too bad they don't have the community patch for console I would love to use etech game especially sniper rifle. I'm a huge sniper fan and would love to use it plus it kinda look like a tracer round which can help me because I'm a terrible sniper.
I know it wont make much difference but, you're comparing moloko to lyuda, which comes with an additional crit damage boost, shoulda compared iy to droog
You should check out the mod that limits the Dahl snipers to 1 round per trigger pull and eliminates the burst fire for more control over your accuracy and ammo pool.

Like, they're just much more powerful than their purple counterparts, without any massive drawbacks, while being, if I'm not mistaken, the same rarity. The boost in power is spot on, imo, but I'd leave that "consumes 2 bullets per shot" mechanic, while giving all of the e-tech snipers a boost in mag sise. Like, "high power for a high price", yaknow?
I have, actually, played at OP8 a lot. And I didnt find it THAT hard in most parts. Quests that are actually hard can be count with your fingers, and at least three raidbosses are just complete jokes of a challenge. I agree that E-tech snipers in the vanilla game sucked ass and the critical damage buff was totally called for, but with the 1 bullet per mag mechanic there's just no real drawbacks to use them. Also, thank you for the correction on rarity. Ps. What's that Sal that everyboy's talking about?..
Why should there be a drawback? I'd say they just buffed the E-tech snipers close to the Lyuda, which I find great because I like having multiple options for great snipers. The issue with 2 bullets per shot isnt mag size, it's that you are going to run out of ammo too quickly to do anything.
Giant Magical Duck I didn't tell anyhing about game being too hard. I meant u didn't use Pitchfork or other multiple ammo using guns on the highest difficulty. It's an example of a gun, which got crippled by 2-ammo-per-shot mechanic, and new ex-techs wouldn't be an exception. Let's use Moloko as an example. 132 ammo equals 61 shot. U have ~10 these shots in a mag and fire 8.5 bullets per second. With such a recoil it was impossible to even hit half of the shots, which means you lose 7,5% of your ammo every mag.

The snowman is always a decent way to farm them, and I know it sounds dumb but the golden chest pumps out etechs

I love the Dahl railer, but it's a shame that the burst shoots too fast to stack properly with CA. Otherwise it would be my JAM.

For my mechromancer I always use E-Tech weapons. For mechromancer and Commando it does a lot of damage to higher-level enemies

I have a slag vladof E-teck sniper for my krieg, the fire rate and clip is psychotic.
It was cool to notice B0re with them since you fire 1 shot and 2 projectiles would bounce off a wall
The vladof one damage the lyuda even with ce (without it's special effect of course).

It looks like you've never seriously played OP8 (Sal doesnt count). I love these buffs. Btw, e-techs are rarer.
