Thanks for the post I used it to do same on Citroen C2. On C2 there is absolutely no need to remove the diesel filter. Removal of the air box is much tighter than Peugeot. Take off oil filler cap and gently pull back airfilter box then remove air sensor and clipped wires. Both bolts securing the EGR are visible and easily accessible. I simply loosened them and inserted the blank between the existing gasket and the valve body. What a bloody fiddle!

i know electric egr valve needs blanked , you showed manual vacum system thats where my comment is directed, the manual system . when electrix one is blanked p0401 fault code is logged but does not bring light on, vacum pipe on manual system when plugged does not effect car running or log fault, i specialise in psa cars hope this helps

I had p0402 error. Cleaning egr helped and error dissapeared.

never did any of that just removed vacum hose to egr valve blocked it off with cut bolt, valve is automatically closed , a lot quicker and less hassle
then the egr in full or middle throtle open my friend,put the car in ecu and you can see it that!i had try it me too that way and didnt't stay close the vallve all time!

I have the citroen version 2007 1.4 hdi and i'm starting to have EGR problems. The engine stops after cold start. Someone told me its also possible to clean it. Why havent you clean it ?
Pedro Catarinon thank you my friend!I think yours agr are electric,but I don't think the problem are from agr,if the agr don't work correct the only problem is the speed,the car don't accelerate so good!
Petite question , j'ai une Ford Fiesta 1.4l HDI de 68 ch (même moteur que 206 ) et je viens de changer la vanne EGR car ma voiture tremblait au démarrage et des à coups avec perte puissance et défaut ODB vanne egr gelée .Dois-je la passer à la balise. Pour calibrer calculateur ou autres . Car elle tremble encore au démarrage mais roule normalement.

I am not sure.... but I don't think you're problem is from egr valve,probably diesel filter or diesel pump!my friend have the same car as yours and I have close his egr valve like mine and works perfect.AGAIN I am not sure what is you're problem but my 206 and fiesta of my friend works perfectly without egr.

Typical of PSA, why not put the EGR valve in somewhere harder to get at, most cars the EGR valve is easy to get at and done in 10 minutes!

Αυτό το έχω βάλει εγώ,είναι για το όργανο μέσα το μπαρομετρο για την πίεση της τουρμπίνας.

@@badrijan9704 ίδιο μοτέρ έχουμε ακριβώς,αλλά νομίζω εσένα είναι ηλεκτρονική η βαλβίδα,σε c max ενός φίλου μου που ήταν ηλεκτρονική και του είχε χαλαση,την ταπωσαμε βγάλαμε τα καλώδια από πάνω και μετά απλά με ένα odb κάναμε reset το check engine.

@@badrijan9704 oxi δεν του το ξαναεβγαλε!το check το εβγαζε λογο του οτι δεν δουλευε,ηταν καμενη,οταν βγαλαμε τα καλωδια απο πανω και το σβησαμε ολα κομπλε.
