Question though: What causes such kind of behaviour? Is it mental illness or just pure malice? I just don't understand.
I dont think I can stand any abuse from a man and especially physical. An insecure man will always project his insecurities through abuse. Love is not abusive. Knowing who you are and whose you are, is the best thing in this world. Often times people will confuse this with pride and arrogance.

I think the lady will heal completely if she put the blame on the man and not the devil or his friends. I had an ex like him he beat all the women he’s had apart from me. These men know what they’re doing and know who they can do it to. As a mum I would urge her to explain to her kids that what she went through was an obsession and wasn’t right for anyone to stay in instead of saying that she has a good heart maybe admit that it was foolish of her to take so much abuse or else her kids will find themselves in the same situation and decide to stay because they want to have good hearts like their mum. I wish her well and I pray she continues doing well, good luck to the form four daughter and I hope she does well in her exams.

The dynamics of abuse are hardly understood by many. Only survivors can really relate. But we thank God that she found her way out.
