Jamie another great vid. Just a quick question towards the end of the video when panning around ( time 24:55). It shows your other two rods in the rest but both under a lot of tension is there a reason for this? I would have thought that having them under constant tension would not be good for the tips? P.S. Does Dad join you on these sessions or is it just the matches? Keep Safe.

These are feeder/quiver tips and are absolutely fine being bent like this all day every day. Most modern rods are memory free in situations like this.

When fishing a short and a long line do you change the direction slightly in which you cast the further line so that its not going through the shorter line?

    • @CatchFishingChannel

Yes Anthony if we've got room to do it we always off-set our lines when we can mate. Jamie

I'd love to get my grubby little maulers on those rose rods. My pocket just ain't deep enough. Never mind, my old ethos rods are still good.
