I liked the later scene where Maura tells Jene that her mother knows she's pregnant. I've never seen a pair of high heels move so quick when Maura ran out of the Doctors office
I have a hard time picturing Jane as a mother. When she finally told her mother, she wanted to keep it a secret from the department for fear of ending with a desk job. I'm not an expert, but I feel like an expecting mother would want to avoid people who could shoot at her during the early stages of her pregnancy.
@@ThePrincessCH ~ Of course, most women wouldn't want to purposely put their self, or their baby in harms way. This was a situation she never got the chance to fully grasp yet, because the pregnancy ended too quickly. When you've been so independent in your life (as Jane was), and an unexpected pregnancy comes into play, it could take months to completely understand what changes you need to make in your life. Jane wasn't there yet. It doesn't mean she wouldn't have made a good mother. And I really do think Jane Truly wanted the baby...
@@Deborahtunes Maybe, but I think Jane on maternity leave might not fit with the general plot of the series. The entire premise of this show surrounds Jane, the detective, and Maura, the medical examiner. Jane can't be a detective if they put her on leave.
@@ThePrincessCH ~ Yes, but that's on the writers. Her pregnancy was in the fourth season. They would have had plenty of time to build the storyline away from her career for a little while. Then bring her back to it later...
@@Deborahtunes Yeah, but it sort of negates the main plot. If it was Maura she could still assist in cases via livestream like she's done before, even if she was on leave. Jane's job kind of requires her to be on the field. The entire series is focused on the protagonists' attempt to balance their professional and personal lives, but if Jane has to go on leave, her professional life will be on pause for a while.

I would like to replace the “Jane is pregnant” with a coming out thing. “Maura, are you and Jane dating?”
Yesss!!
Freaking love Lorraine Bracco
I liked her better in The Sopranos & the movie she made with Sean Connery Medicine Man
0:56 that look!
I'm laughing so hard I can't breathe:)
I love when jane says i hate u to Maura. Wow what a love of friendship. Amazing.
They are so cute miss them so much
I can't believe there are not any more comments. I mean, it is Rizzoli & Isles.
I know
ikr
I love 💕 this show so much ❤️
I really wanted Jane to have the baby. It's a shame they wrote it out of the script...
