Night Falls (Gravity Falls/Night Vale Theme Mashup)

Two of the most (scientifically) interesting fictional towns ever... Couldn't resist making a mashup of their themes!
I ended up using the string version of the song, since I thought it sounded better, and also it helped balance the different atmospheres of the two. Also the build was pretty nice (:
FYI, I'm aware that the beginning part of the song isn't actually the Gravity Falls theme. I just like it, plus many people have basically adopted it as part of the "extended version" of the theme.

I honestly can't believe this video has gotten over 25k views. I find it marvelous that this video from 4 years ago continues to bring two weird and beautiful fandoms together.

Joe Bott Night Vale is located in a desert with no natural sources of water while Gravity Falls is in a more mountainous region with multiple lakes and rivers.

This is absolutely wonderful! The other one I think would pair up really good with Gravity Falls is a little Podcast called KingFalls Am. If you like NightVale and Gavity Falls you'll love King Falls AM.

I have a crazy theory. Ready?
What if Night Vale is the future Gravity Falls? What if, years and years later, the town of Gravity Falls decayed, turning the vast forests of Oregon into deserts. Eventually the town of Gravity falls after being almost abandoned, for what ever reasons eventually became renamed, into night vale. The town kept weird as it is after all a magnet for strange and after the effects of Weirdmagiddon just made the magnet stronger and it must have left behind some weird stuff. AND sence it could be years and years into the future it would also explain why it's a hot desert town, with the effects of future rot and global warming. Sence it's the future it would also explain why it has so many science fiction inventions thow whe watched the show it included plenty as well so mabye they built off the past much like Ford did. "But why are they all so stupid" you may be asking me. Well the resistance of that town has always been stupid.
