snsd was my first stan group back in 2009 when i started to know more bout kpop! i literally cried in the first minute cause it is literally a part of ME. i started to be more confident, more "light" bout myself, etc etc just because of this 8 girls. its so grateful to be able to see them together again! also, they look like 18 again like ?
I got into SNSD thanks to Tiffany. Thanks to her I worked through her discography backwards until I got to her SNSD era and I'm so glad they're back. This MV/song is so classic,. looking at the present, mature group while paying homage to their beginnings. I love it!
The thing I specially loved about that MV is how it shows them as they are and as they were at the same time. It´s SNSD in all their splendour banging on our memories, but it´s also Yoona shooting a movie, Taeyeon being a soloist, Hyo a DJ, Soohyun an actress (on some kind of musical stage) so on so on. SNSD was the first group I ever stanned, and that was back in 2010. And when 4 members left SM, I didn't think we'd get another Group Comeback. So my mind was pretty much blown with this release. I will say that I'm OT9 at heart, so it's always bitter sweet to see the group without Jessica, especially when they sing about how they're together forever... But they look and sound great, Seohyun looks like 21 - not 31- and Sooyoung really stands out with that blonde hair. Tae is my bias too, but Sooyoung bias wrecked me 5 ways from Sunday. Anyway always cool to Hear from you and your OG perspective. :)

The girls said You Better Run was connected to RDR and it's basically the ending to that storyline. And also villain is written by sooyoung and tiffany and also composed by Tiffany which makes the first song that was composed by a member.
SNSD had those double meaning songs since long time ago (Complete, Forever, Divine etc) but it is the first time they make it as their Title song, making it more meaningful to us as SONE. and the beat is so cheerful it sounds like a celebration song to me. definitely will become song in reunion or party.

I first listened to SNSD when I was in 7th grade and I graduated in 2021. I started listening because my cousin had a Korean exchange student and she introduced us to a lot of the 2nd Gen groups like t-ara, SNSD, older BTS songs, 2ne1, and many many more. SNSD was the first group I loved and avidly followed and knowing they're still going strong now, warms my heart so much and I cried watching this MV. I felt like the 7th grade I was once, watching my first MV from SNSD.

Been with them for 12 years now and practically grew up with them. Seeing them together again feels so nostalgic and I feel like a part of me that was missing suddenly came back.
Oh and btw since you said that Run Devil Run was your fave era then you will like You Better Run and Villain on their new album. The girls said You Better Run was connected to RDR and it's basically the ending to that storyline. And also villain is written by sooyoung and tiffany and also composed by Tiffany which makes the first song that was composed by a member.
SNSD had those double meaning songs since long time ago (Complete, Forever, Divine etc) but it is the first time they make it as their Title song, making it more meaningful to us as SONE. and the beat is so cheerful it sounds like a celebration song to me. definitely will become song in reunion or party.

Honestly the first ever K-pop group I've ever known, I am so emotional right now.
As an avid fan of SNSD since 2008 is really nostalgic and so emotional seeing eight members together again even if Sooyoung,Seohyun and Tiffany left SME they still have not forgotten the bond they made since then. So bad we still want an OT9 but we all do love Jessica and since SME announced SNSD is an eight official members,we still get the vibe and energy from our Senior Sunbaenims.If you noticed the bridge part,they used the key of "Into the new world" in that part and that made me emotional. I'm a certified SONE forever!

I first listened to SNSD when I was in 7th grade and I graduated in 2021. I started listening because my cousin had a Korean exchange student and she introduced us to a lot of the 2nd Gen groups like t-ara, SNSD, older BTS songs, 2ne1, and many many more. SNSD was the first group I loved and avidly followed and knowing they're still going strong now, warms my heart so much and I cried watching this MV. I felt like the 7th grade I was once, watching my first MV from SNSD.
