The reason your boost changes throughout your rpm range is due to the volumetric efficiency of the engine. When the engine is at it's best efficiency, you will see the least boost due to the engine consuming more air naturally. I had a m62 roots blower on a probe gt back in the day and when it would hit VRIS (intake manifold runner length change), my boost would drop over 1.5psi. This only happens with positive displacement pumps because they only move specific amounts of air per revolution. PS: hurry up with those rod givaway! I have a D16 Honda Insight that could use them!

Its dropping from max boost due to best slip..I had the same issue in my mini . Once I finally found it wasn't normal and added lots on tension on my belt, it hold 16lb from 2k rpms all way to redline at 7300 now.. made a HUGE help getting the tension correct

Just did my supercharger pulley too in my mini cooper , went from 15% to 17% and upped my injectors again too N retune...I think ur civic looks faster though , it would be a good race though at the least
My turbo went out on my cruze yesterday😔 I saw maxpeedingrods actually had the factory replacement, but I needed the replacement asap so I ordered off amazon since they had prime shipping. Its my only daily driver and will barely maintain highway speed without it. 5th and 6th gear it has so little power I lose speed on the highway

Hi, I wonder what crank pulley you are using? My d16z6 use lightweight small crank pulley + 3” snout pulley , hit 7.5 psi from 4k-5k rpm , then drop boost to 3psi , if somewhere leaking can loose that much pressure? It’s really bothering me 😢

You should fab a bracket off of the charger to hold an idler pully to help get more belt wrap and help prevent belt slip
I have 2 idle pulleys on there. I have to adjust one of them and it will solve my problem

1. Injector brand/size
2.fuel pump
3.fuel pressure at idle
45psi fuel pressure at idle, 1000cc id injectors, walbro 255lph tuned on E85

You should port and shim your oil pump y8s eat bearing s at high rpm that’s what I did to mine

Yes it will help keep them bearings nice and cooled down and keep them from rod knocking way longer than without it

The rods won’t but the pistons are where that is at. Ima be running flat top pistons to allow for more compression
