yes, same here didnt like them at first but kept trying them on and looking at them and i love them now. was planning on ultra boost but i love the vapormax
Picked mine up a couple days ago. Fowler, you are on to something regarding the stability. This shoe is one of the rare instances where a wide foot is a win. The pressure points from the bubble seem to spread out and distribute a lot better if you're heavier and have a wide /flat foot. The interesting part is that the comfort of these shoes isn't noticeable until the end of the day. With boost, they are comfortable while wearing, but eventually cause foot and back fatigue. These guys, however, aren't as noticeably comfortable right off the bat, but the Support they provide all day is really noticeable after a few hours of use.
Danny_Getsfit yep! lol agreed. But they are crazy tough to get. And resale is stupid high as well. I have a pair of OG coming in so I'll see how they are. If not, I'll return/resell them and get me some CYN ultras
shookthees I bought the OG's but I can't really see me wearing them outside of the gym/running. Maybe I'll throw on a pair of jeans with a white t-shirt and see how they are. Idk, I'll see tomorrow when they arrive
Wore these all day today in all honesty they are comfortable but not like boost, it's a totally different feeling but it is a decent shoe, I like that it's odd looking
Carlos Rodriguez in hand they are, better materials for sure and more comfortable than an nmd but not like ultra or pure boost, just in my opinion though I only wear them casually
Are your air units in these shoes still holding up? I couldn't see myself paying $200+ for a pair of Nikes that squeak or may pop the air bubbles so I just today bought a pair of Nike ID USA country vapormax for $80 and now just waiting for them to arrive. However if the air units are going to pop shortly with normal pavement only use then I'm sending them back. Thanks in advance.
Owning Ultra Boost and these, I must say Boost is great for every day use to where VaporMax are only great when running(which is their intended purpose). I personally like the sharp feedback vs the soft boost.
hard to beat boost for lifestyle wear + adidas killin it on marketing side. nike fail on setting customers expectations for vapormax, esp running performance. world's top runners wear nike, but nike got lazy n arrogant - opening the door for 3stripes
Seth I just saw your video on how much RUclipsrs made. In a couple of months you've gained A TON of subscribers. Can you do an updated video on these? Also, dope video review!
I can't see myself wearing these casually. I tried a pair on and it was comfy enough but i just felt so goofy with these 2 inch see-through pods under my feet 😕
It's kinda random question I want to ask, since this is your recent video, I might get notice haha. If I'm wearing a US9/UK8 on my Nike Flyknit Racer, what do you recommend me to get, a US8 1/2 or US9 for the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0?
Hey Fowler I don't know if you remember me or not I subbed to you at like 700 subs 😅. Anyway I just wanted to say congrats 🎊 on the 45k subs dude. Your videos have gotten so much better, I like the new background and the music fits really well with the video anyway Keep it up bro!
Yeah... idk how I feel about this shoe. I had the same first reaction Seth did but now each time i look at the shoe I can feel it growing on me. Some colorways like the Nike multi-color Vapormax and the triple black look pretty dope. I'll just wait for more colorways to drop before making any final judgments.
I was lucky enough to cop two OG vapormax. They should be here tomorrow. I'll see how they are compared to the ultraboost that I'm also gettin. I'm new to the shoe game so I never actually tried the boost. In fact, the closest thing would be my roshe 2 flyknit. But if I like the ultras better, I'll prob sell one for resale price and keep one for the hell of it. Or if I'm really disappointed, I'll sell both for resale
I have wide feet not to wide but not normal sized and I found that I cant actually tie the laces I have to losen them until only the lace tips show and then its a nice fit
I have a problem with the newer air maxs coming out nowadays that on my feet it just feels like they are jabbing into the bottom edge of my foot. Do that mean I need to go up a size? Wanted some sequent 2 in green but had same problem.
YO!!!! I NEED AN ANSWER, MAN!!! Where do you recommend I get a pair of Ultra Boosts 3.0? None of the sneaker stores in my area carry any Boosts, and I can never find a new pair online... Any suggestions???
Hey FowlerCustoms, Same reaction I had the first time i put the Vapormax on. felt like i was going to twist my ankle walking around. BUT let me tell you where everything changed. I'm a college wrestler and a true athlete, i put these on and did some sprints and OH MY GOD it was fucking unbelievable, you mentioned that if you're a heavier guy or if you jump it feels good. that's exactly what happens when you sprint in them, the air outsole places your feet in the next step every time during a sprint and gives you a perfect bounce off the ground. I do agree with most things that you said, i think it looks weird but I kind of like how it almost looks like a cleat but for the ground lol.
Feel like Nike is trying to do too much with Air... Boost works because it easily takes the place of a midsole, but air only really works as part of a midsole. Sound like they're comfy and look like they would be great for performance or if you didn't care too much about how they looked, but I'll stick with boost.
I tried these on in store and I have wide feet, if u want a good fit and don't mind some room on the toebox I would go up a half size to a full size, I usually wear an 11-11.5 and a size 12 fit perfect on me with just a bit of room up front but nothing uncomfortable or noticable
My only critique would be to please hold the product more steady on camera. I'm trying to look at the product you're talking about but I'm getting dizzy. Otherwise, good videos.
If they changed the way the air pods look I think that this could have been a great competitor to the UB, but they just look a little goofy. Idk maybe if they come out with a dope colorway I might consider copping a pair.
Facts. Nike fail - no dark colorway for launch, and not positioning this better as a performance runner. Need to manage customer expectations on new product - 3stripes doing it right in lifestyle category
i think youre just too hard on for boost so nothing else will compare haha but i feel you on most of what you said just based off the logic i have yet to try em on but 360 air unit shoes like the lebron 10 are just insanely comfy so im stoked to try these
I think the one thing that sometimes holds back Nike is the over innovate. The do so much research on athletes and focus on performance that it sometimes alienates the avg consumer. This shoe's support was modeled after where top athletes need support. Top athletes that likely have great running form which may not be applicable to the avg consumer as it doesn't have a lot of margin for error.
Lol. For the on feet segment it really looked like you could have rolled your ankle. I know Nike is desperate to compete with the ultraboost but pushing crap out quickly just to try and compete isn't doing them justice.
Why doesn't someone take a syringe and extract the air from within the air pockets and then liquify it and run it through a masspec (I know I simplified it like crazy and there are more steps to this process but still- if someone really wants to know whats inside a Nike air Max shoe...)
these grew on me, didn't like em at all at first
+SneakerTalk same for sure
yes, same here didnt like them at first but kept trying them on and looking at them and i love them now. was planning on ultra boost but i love the vapormax
SneakerTalk yeah same here
SneakerTalk smh
same

JBob08 ya im a bit bigger and I didn't understand that they work great for me don't feel a thing
JBob08 a@
thought these were ugly af, really grew on me.
Same.
sing same
Same
had the same with yeezys
Pause
It looks like you stepped on a water bottle in a hot summer day and it got stuck on your shoe.
You're honestly so underrated for such great content keep it up!
ikr
It has grown on me, but I still don't dig it. The all blacks would be the only ones I would be close to copping.
Danny_Getsfit yep! lol agreed. But they are crazy tough to get. And resale is stupid high as well. I have a pair of OG coming in so I'll see how they are. If not, I'll return/resell them and get me some CYN ultras
iMarks Tech the resell on these aren't even that bad lol.
KillerKing I think he meant resell for the triple black Nikelab pair
KillerKing the resell for CNY ultraboosts? For my size they last sold on GOAT for 430 :(
iMarks Tech I thought we were talking the Vapormaxs?
hated these until you mentioned it would make me 2 inches taller. ......lol
Hahaha
It won't make you *2* whole inches taller. It's just about 3-3.5cm
If they were a little more casual looking, then I would buy them in a different color-way. But for $190, I'll stick with my Ultra Boost
shookthees I bought the OG's but I can't really see me wearing them outside of the gym/running.
TheCrispyjones but not $190. These should be no more than $120
Carlos Rodriguez I would agree to a point, not 190 but 150 I think is fair, it's a very solid performance shoe regardless of how it looks,
TheCrispyjones nmd's go for $120 to $140, I just don't think they are any better than nmd's.
Carlos Rodriguez in hand they are, better materials for sure and more comfortable than an nmd but not like ultra or pure boost, just in my opinion though I only wear them casually
The colorways on these are pretty dope, but the shoe in general looks a little weird
I personally think they look great.
c3intricate ikr they look anazing
love ur new set up in the back!
i actually really like the aesthetics of this shoe, looks really cool imo
Saad Ehsan bro, it really is! I don’t know why ppl don’t like his sneaker, it’s hella comfortable and looks dope af
Ikr they look great I am getting a pair I can’t wait
Fried Noodles yeah it looks great

So right about stability and how the sole might get caught in steps and what not
gotta second you on that amazing feeling when wearing boost for the first time. that stuff does feel like youre walking on a cloud
Owning Ultra Boost and these, I must say Boost is great for every day use to where VaporMax are only great when running(which is their intended purpose). I personally like the sharp feedback vs the soft boost.
You should do a video on the best sneaker uppers or best type of knit.
fair and nice review...why you need air if you have BOOST...
hard to beat boost for lifestyle wear + adidas killin it on marketing side. nike fail on setting customers expectations for vapormax, esp running performance. world's top runners wear nike, but nike got lazy n arrogant - opening the door for 3stripes
Fowler could you review the reebok Zoku runner?
I finally got a pair last week and I like em....but mine squeak like crazy, especially on the laminate floor in the house.
I like that new wood shelf
Seth I just saw your video on how much RUclipsrs made. In a couple of months you've gained A TON of subscribers. Can you do an updated video on these?
Also, dope video review!
I was literally gonna ask if they were flat foot friendly and u answered the question 👍
pretty accurate review. i have wide feet and bought true to size, too tight on the toe box. not even close to ultraboost.
I can't see myself wearing these casually. I tried a pair on and it was comfy enough but i just felt so goofy with these 2 inch see-through pods under my feet 😕
What kind of ultraboost do you perfer
Caged or uncaged?
Great video!
Really like the backdrop keep it up 👍
I was waiting your opinion a think the same, i keep in love with ultraboost
I'm seriously considering getting these but have one question. Does the vapormax really squeak when you walk on them??
Yes on certain surfaces, e.g. tiles and wood
These are great I run in. Seeing how it's a running shoe it serves its purpose.
Btw Seth can u do a comparison for ultra boosts to nike zoom all out low.
Looks like someone threw bubble wrap on some sketchers

the triple black is so cool!
I agree with you and wonder that those air unit will last? Basically it build for a road runner right?!
It's kinda random question I want to ask, since this is your recent video, I might get notice haha. If I'm wearing a US9/UK8 on my Nike Flyknit Racer, what do you recommend me to get, a US8 1/2 or US9 for the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0?
+Amir Razali I personally go true to size and I have narrow feet, so I don't think you can go wrong with that
Hey Fowler I don't know if you remember me or not I subbed to you at like 700 subs 😅. Anyway I just wanted to say congrats 🎊 on the 45k subs dude. Your videos have gotten so much better, I like the new background and the music fits really well with the video anyway Keep it up bro!
I saw these at 21 Mercer on Saturday but I ended up getting a pair of new balance 1978's. it was either them or another Pinnacle AM1's
@fowlercustoms would you say these are more comfortable than the Ultra Boosts?
+Chris nope not even close
FowlerCustoms how is sizing comparable to ultra boost... size .5 or a full size down. Wanna order tomorrow...
UPPERROOMENT so what size do you order?
Yeah... idk how I feel about this shoe. I had the same first reaction Seth did but now each time i look at the shoe I can feel it growing on me. Some colorways like the Nike multi-color Vapormax and the triple black look pretty dope. I'll just wait for more colorways to drop before making any final judgments.
It's definitely an eye catcher. Not on my 'must have' list though
I've said it in other videos and I'll say it here as well. This shoe looks like as if the sole got run through by a hot iron and it grew blisters.
what's the song on the background?
Have you seen the all black ones? They're not to bad
How's the comfort of these compare to the Ultraboost
Can you run in a marathon with these? Or is this much of training and working out?
best honest review of this shoe. hands down. they were not comfy at all
I have wide feet not to wide but not normal sized and I found that I cant actually tie the laces I have to losen them until only the lace tips show and then its a nice fit
Seth you should do a 50k subscriber giveaway!
If people don't know be aware the bottom will sometimes get caught on the pedals when driving! Mine get caught now and then.
Hey FowlerCustoms,
Same reaction I had the first time i put the Vapormax on. felt like i was going to twist my ankle walking around.
The difference between these and boost is that boost is actually comfortable
can you review eqt turbo red, i believe the one wth the stripes on half the shoe
How much room should you have between the big toe and the front of the shoe?
idk at first i thought tgey where ugly but now theyre very very slowly growing on me,ima try em on and if theyre dope ill cop
i had a pair and the bubble split away from the plastic plate that they connected too
Which sneaker is the comfiest?
I didn't watch any reviews because I knew you would make a review ps they look really comfortable
Found these uncomfortable did u have to break in for few days first?
I used to think that the Nike free rn flyknit 2017 rainbow color way was the best looking shoe, now I think the vapour max are.
Feel like Nike is trying to do too much with Air... Boost works because it easily takes the place of a midsole, but air only really works as part of a midsole. Sound like they're comfy and look like they would be great for performance or if you didn't care too much about how they looked, but I'll stick with boost.
so what will happen with the shoe if one of those air things gets pierced or damaged somehow?
I wish the sole looked like the Nike Air Max 2016 Flyknit. They shouldn't have spaced out the Air Units.
I tried these on in store and I have wide feet, if u want a good fit and don't mind some room on the toebox I would go up a half size to a full size, I usually wear an 11-11.5 and a size 12 fit perfect on me with just a bit of room up front but nothing uncomfortable or noticable
If you take these on a plane would it blow up (this is a serious question I’m going to Italy and would like to know before I buy)
the pull tab is too stretchy and seems like its going to break when i pull them but i overall its a great shoe
I copped and guess what.. I absolutely LOVE them! Better than Ultra Boost in my opinion!
+DeNzOO7 nice! I'm glad you dig em! I want to love them so bad
Same
The sole would look soo much better if it had the 2016 air max sole but without those support pieces that stop you from actually feeling the air
lowkey want to get some purecontrol 17+ UB to stunt on the air boys lmao
Holy shit it seems like you were at 10k just yesterday
Quality sketchers?
It looks amazing...
My only critique would be to please hold the product more steady on camera. I'm trying to look at the product you're talking about but I'm getting dizzy. Otherwise, good videos.
What are the brown ultra boost next to the human race plz help
Original Trendz those are the Ultra Boost x Kith collaboration. I believe it's Seth's fave UB in his collection?
If they changed the way the air pods look I think that this could have been a great competitor to the UB, but they just look a little goofy. Idk maybe if they come out with a dope colorway I might consider copping a pair.
CS Bruh the black color way looks pretty fire
Facts. Nike fail - no dark colorway for launch, and not positioning this better as a performance runner. Need to manage customer expectations on new product - 3stripes doing it right in lifestyle category
Do the soles yellow ?
Been with this channel since day ☝🏼
Luis ruis
You want a cookie? 🍪
Luis ruis Since day? Okay then...
Luis ruis ay
Tried them on there comfy asf but i still prefer the ultraboost
seth i dig the review but im giving you an L on your cuff game today. lol
2020
i think youre just too hard on for boost so nothing else will compare haha but i feel you on most of what you said just based off the logic i have yet to try em on but 360 air unit shoes like the lebron 10 are just insanely comfy so im stoked to try these
How does Nike keep having the balls to charge higher prices for less comfortable, worse looking shoes than adidas?
Love the upper but the sole looks like mouth guards
I didnt like them at first. When i tried them on with jeans they looked kinda weird. The shoe fit me perfectly tho.
back to the drawing board nike..these some hypebeast shit
Pin roll your jeans. That cuff looks ridiculous...
or just dont wear jeans with these, these are for somme tapered trackpants
I will admit I hated these at first. But seeing on foot, they look so much better. Definitely a shoe you have to try on to enjoy more.
Jw how tall are you?
A honest review.
Sole looks like clear mouth guards, rank design, would look better if it was a one piece sole
I think the one thing that sometimes holds back Nike is the over innovate. The do so much research on athletes and focus on performance that it sometimes alienates the avg consumer. This shoe's support was modeled after where top athletes need support. This Nike VaporMax and Adidas Springblade are the two most dangerous shoes ever made !
I think it's nitrogen since its more stable than air. If it was air it would expand in the heat of summer..
can this shoe handle a hike?
