Darius has still definitely one of the very best verses throughout almost all of the Falconshield series. His voice changes so much and it really adds sooo much to the entire thing. Edit: Even a year later I still agree with this statement. Just hearing the voice change as the song goes on, makes you feel like it's really him. It FEELS like the things he's saying are actually affecting him and make him more and more angry.
lines like "I won't be sentenced to being defeated" and "the troops are ready to quit, so it's time I carry" are the reasons this song remains in my workout playlist
Also, while the video production got better over time, the "This is War" songs especially but all of them later on started to just be more little bits of each character, rather than them having a theme intrinsic.

The only thing I don't like about this is when Draven says to kill the good guys, Noxus isn't innately evil, they just believe in power in strength instead of status or wealth. So I don't like how they kinda made it seem like it was good vs evil. It's more of just a clash of ideals. Darius's opener made it seem like that, but the rest... not so much.
When I listen to this, I see a battle in my mind, at first Noxus is winning, then Garen and Galio turn it around. Not long after, though, Swain and Draven enter the battle, making it heavily in Noxus' favor. This is when a bright light shines behind the Demacian troops, and Noxian troops just lose hope. The very light of this world is on Demacias side, and the battlefield is engulfed in it as it purges the battlefield of Noxian troops, leaving behind only the Demacians. Lily just nails this song, making Lux feel like something divine before which Noxus has no chance. "I am the ender" really says it all, she is probably the most powerful (judging by potential, the other candidate being Annie) in the League, ending all who oppose her. But maybe I'm just a huge Lux fanboy.

Wow... I can't believe how many years it's been since this stormed into the scene. Now that the band is toast, it feels right to pay respects to where it all started for me. thank you, Falconshield, for making tunes that I have spent hundreds of hours listening to over the past 5 years.
And hats off to you, Martin, I'd place your solos up there together with many of my favorite guitarists ever, up there with Chris Broderick and Wolf Hoffmann. Your solos were always a highlight on every song, from blood moon to trundle and final clash, it would never disappoint. This is fucking amazing. The entire thing was great, but I felt like Draven, Galio, and especially Lux were the standouts - but the rest of it was SO GOOD that them being "better" is more like the difference between a 9.5 and a perfect 10.
