This video is so helpful. I bought the same hinges and the door doesn’t lay completely flat. Did you install some sort of stop block on the inside of the face frame to force the door the lay flat, verses closed too far into the cabinet?
There are small pilot holes on the jig to mark hinge screws as well. You can remove the the drill bit quick lock and you can make pilot holes for the hinge screws with a small drill bit.
@@HowYouCanMakeIt I know you used inset doors . You screwed the hinge on to the face frame asking how much of a gap between your face frame and Caracass

I attached it to the inside faceframe 3/4" lip.
Is #5 on kreg jig the recommended setting for door boring? Thanks
that is the one I mainly use however you should always check the hinge manufacture recommendations.

Do they make ones that are fully adjustable up, down and in and out?
Yes I believe they do. This one has a lot of adjustments
for this hinge how much overlay space on your face frame did you need? My carcasses face frame have 1/2 " gap behind them
I used inset doors you may need to get a different hinge for overlay.

@@jmvediting oh I see it’s 1/2in
My doors are 11/8” can this hinge be used with a door over 1”?
I am not sure you would need to look up the products website details
How wide would a typical faceplate for inset doors be. Looks like 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" wide stock
Shaker slats are usually 2.5” wide
So the mounting bracket on the back…how do you know hot fat it goes in?
You use a kreg jig door hinge drill kit link is in the description
“First, get a Kreg jig…” 🤦🏻♀️

Your camera is too far away to see what you were actually doing. Next time do a close up of when you connect the two parts please.
I really appreciate your suggestion! Clear visuals are important, and I’ll work on getting those close-ups for you in the future.
