The Oni of ife has done a lot to promote the culture and values of the people of ile ife and Yoruba Land in general. I continue to wonder why people close their eyes to these beautiful efforts and effects and decide to see just the ugly side of his life. This Kabiyesi has brought so many developmental projects to ile ife and this can not be denied. Weldone Kabiyesi,Oni of Ife. May you live long on the throne of your forefathers.

@@olaosebikaniyabo1096 I’ve been traveling to Ile-Ife for the past 7months documenting the city. I have not come across a single soul that has said anything bad about the Kabieyesi, I’ve met with high Oloye’s and all of them speak highly of his majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi OJaja II the Oni has truly and indeed brought about many developments and prosperity to the city and people of Ife. People who don’t see it are either bl!nd or don’t know a good thing! IFE Oye oo

The brown Roof, on a massive display. Put me off. Believe me. Really makes the area, look dirty.

@@caniceosuagwu2580 The brown roofs, looking at Ile-Ife from the birds eye view is a unique and beautiful sight. I believe has been left like that on purpose. It showcases the beauty of Ile-Ife as a big city during the colonial era. Just like it’s been done in Ibadan. Now does that mean the area is dirty? NO. Have you ever visited Ile-Ife ? If no then please don’t come under my contents and put up comments like this. Thank you. Love and respect 🫡

@@caniceosuagwu2580 Also, you should understand that Ile-Ife is country and not a mega city 🌆 you don’t expect skyscrapers in a place like IFe.. shouldn’t we be proud to showcase what we have now? Moreover if we don’t document what our cities look like right now, how then do we have records of what they used to look like?

@@caniceosuagwu2580 There are new developments going on in Ife, though it’s slow but it’s happening. Another angle to why it’s slow is because to most people Ife is home where they come for rest and leisure, while for some they just want to preserve this kind of settings.
