    The problem with Nate's demos is that he is so good that even the cheapest gear would sound stellar in his hands. (but I still bought the Eventide H90 because of him)

    That was kickin'!! Love the subtle, but sweet controls. That could be one primary pedal on my board. Thanks. 👍

    Awesome demo, Nate 😎🤘🏻🎸 the dudes from source audio makes such phenomenal pedals and this preamp sounds pretty cool. I’m thinking about purchasing this preamp pedal. Especially since I do own 2 source audio pedals.

    What does the "Scoop" emulate? I couldn't understand in the video, and closed captions couldn't pick it up either? 🤔 Great demo btw 🤩

    Is the "direct out" xlr straight from the instrument or via the pedal?

    Hi, Nate. Would you please mind sharing if you typically use a preamp in a live situation to improve or control the sound you get from your amp and the house?

    • @NateNavarro
      @NateNavarro  5 месяцев назад +2

      Hi Kelly, Thanks for asking. I always use a preamp in live situations. Typically, during rehearsals I'll spend time with the front of house engineer, tailoring my signal to their preferences. The preamp is very useful in this stage. During shows, I'll use my amp head to make adjustments for myself on stage, and the pre-EQ amp signal is sent to front of house, so that my amp adjustments don't affect the signal they receive.

      @@NateNavarro - thank you for taking time to respond! My live playing situations were at a much smaller scale, and it’s really cool to learn how they might scale up.

    I really liked the punchy low end boost. It wasn't boomy, it was just punchy

    • @NateNavarro
      @NateNavarro  5 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks! Using the BASS control, which is centered at 100Hz, in tandem with the FOCUS control, which is a sweeping hi-pass filter, lets you dial in the lows nice and precisely.

    • @Cake_Doge
      @Cake_Doge 5 месяцев назад

      @@NateNavarro How do you dial the high pass filter with bass? I really like the rumble of the low lows, but as you said sometimes they take headroom and deprive the sound from clarity. For example with the Ampeg plugins I use the high pass filter to 200hz which gets rid of some low lows and puts more emphasis on the mids, losing all the mud and boom.
