Tucker you can go online and look up the different tickets to see which prizes have already been claimed. They only make so many tickets for each prize amount for each different game. Aka: like the BIG prize and if they've all been won then you know which ticket NOT to buy. This again includes any amount. Also if your really wanting the final wins/losses send in the ones that have additional chances of winning. It will say on the back of each ticket along with when the drawings for those are. Alot of the times it can be real close the big amount. Just saying. ☺

I had an experience today that made me think of you two. I went to a movie and when I was walking outside, one of the employees told me to bang on the hood of my car because someone dropped off a litter of kittens. I knew a lady my Aunt was friends w who won..technically it was her husband that won..but you know its 50/50 in the courts eyes..Her husband was an awful person. he abused her, spoke badly to her etc..the day before she found out she won she was divorcing him & he never found out til later..what happened was he took the ticket that the clerk apparently messed up & the customer didn't want..instead of canceling it Tony took the ticket..that night he won a little over $2 million..it wasn't the big powerball but it was alot..he had worked for 911. ended up becoming a FT gambler & now has NOTHING. She bought a nice house for about $200k. it was almost brand new. she invested her money..kept a PT job..put her 2 kids thru school..You'd never know she's a millionaire. she's still very Frugal to this day...oh the Divorce..her lawyer advised her to withdraw the papers for a bit bc of the winnings. he tried fighting her on that later when he was broke. The judge denied it bc they had been married 15 years at that point. I honestly can't blame her..he did awful things to her..to this day she's still single bc of him she says. but she's still living her life

In Maryland there was some site a distant relative went to that would tell the scratch off ticket names with approx how many unsold were left and what prizes had not been claimed yet. Using the data he found he knew which tickets to buy to have the greatest odds to win. He won fairly big at least twice which made some people think he and the liquor store owner where he bought the tickets think they were cheating somehow.

Here in Florida, the lottery website will tell you how many winners have been sold on each individual scratch off. It tells you how many winners are left.
When Oregon started the scratch offs, in the 80s, they were sold in 200 ($1)100 ($2) and 100 ( $5). The retailers paid 72% of retail and the lowest cost tickets and some winners to break. Even of the 72% less.their cut. So an entire role usually returns half of the cost. However, in their share they provide the winners randomly. Not sure how closely they are watched, but you would probably do better buying a series in a set to catch the random winners. The back of each card will tell you the odds and sometimes the actual number of each winner plus the number of tickets for the prize. Depends on the honesty of the commission.

A friend of mine worked a a truck stop she told me the truckers would spend tons of money on scratch tickets and after they would leave she would take the ones they threw away out of the trash and there was always winners in there. So make sure you double check those babies.
you should see if there's an app listed on the scratch site that you can use to scan each ticket. and there should be an area on that web site that tells you how many high dollar tickets are left.

Two big wins. Purchasing your tickets after research might improve your odds a bit. I wonder if the state lotteries can continue to sell scratch off tickets if all that's left to win are $1 or free tickets. I don't play the lottery but if I did I'd do research to try to improve my odds and not waste my money by spending it on scratch offs with only dinky prizes left

We would do the same thing every other friday. We never made it to the positive. We would always cash in and buy more until we'd break even or lose one. The lady at that store we use to go to hated seeing me some into the store because of the stack of tickets she'd have to cash in. Good luck guys.

Here in Florida, the lottery website will tell you how many winners have been sold on each individual scratch off. It tells you how many winners are left.
When Oregon started the scratch offs, in the 80s, they were sold in 200 ($1)100 ($2) and 100 ( $5). The retailers paid 72% of retail and the lowest cost tickets and some winners to break. Even of the 72% less.their cut. So an entire role usually returns half of the cost. However, in their share they provide the winners randomly. Not sure how closely they are watched, but you would probably do better buying a series in a set to catch the random winners. The back of each card will tell you the odds and sometimes the actual number of each winner plus the number of tickets for the prize. Depends on the honesty of the commission.

I’ve done this before too lol. At the very least, its ALWAYS been a 70% return in my experience. I may win back more than that, but rarely have I gone below! So when I spend $500, I consider $150 the price for entertainment for several hours. However, by the end of it, I was dying because that silver chit gets everywhere and it wasn’t so fun anymore!

A friend of mine worked a a truck stop she told me the truckers would spend tons of money on scratch tickets and after they would leave she would take the ones they threw away out of the trash and there was always winners in there. So make sure you double check those babies.
you should see if there's an app listed on the scratch site that you can use to scan each ticket. and there should be an area on that web site that tells you how many high dollar tickets are left.
