This anime is incredible with animation but damn did they destroy the story from the WEBTOON. They cut out all the explanation for moves. They cut out the explanation for people having powers. They made the side characters worthless and forgettable. It’s just so ass it’s hard to believe

Yeah I remember watching this and being like “WE OUT OF THE WEBTOON WITH THIS ONE!” And then saw a lot of things get cut out and was pissed.
Tbf, they had to put the entire first arc, which was 100+ chapters, into a 12 episode season and since the anime was simply supposed to be a promotional anime to advertise the Manhwa, there wasn’t plans to do more than a single season. I think they did good with what they had to work with

No, the animation for the show was always considered good, it's just that they had forced to many chapters of the manhwa into 12 episodes, which made the plot hard to understand as to much was dropped at once.

God of highschool manhwa is one of the best action stories out there which isn't carried by its fights and looks alone. This anime would've been peak (especially the arcs that come in the future) if the didn't cram 112 chapters in 13 episodes
