@@Steampunk_Kak I don't want to be that pessimistic guy, but what can we seriously expect from Bethesda at this point? A video showing some fancy graphics is pretty pointless when it comes to Bethesda game. Graphic is least of the problem, especially since we always mod it and looks better and has less performance issues. What I want to know is if they will finally bother to improve AI, combat, animations, quests, have world that reflect player actions, npc actually acknowledging you and don't treat you like they see you or the first time when you're actually their fucking leader, less bugs, omg less bugs, more stability, better performance and much more. If there won't be some serious rework of these things, I'm not interested.
I just hope Shirley gets to play ES6.

Such as? I mean, I struggle to play Skyrim sometimes due remember most all of it making it boring/repetitive feeling even after months of not playing it. But there's no real memorable points in it for me, or really even memorable quest honestly(The embassy was cool the first time through and some of the daedric quest were fun a few times). The environments are pretty great though, although sometimes kind of empty.
Not saying it's bad though, this goes fore Oblivion as ewell and I honestly prefer Oblivion due to the shear amount of content in comparison, but it still get those same feelings for me as Skyrim

I gotta say, I felt really misled to find out 3/4 into the video that the forest footage shown near the beginning was almost completely irrelevant. Really poor taste.
No kidding. The way he talks makes it seem, and is obviously intended to make it seem, like the footage shown is from the game. And as you can see, a lot of people in the comment section *still* believe it's from the game. It's hard to even express how scummy of a move that was by this guy. It's one small step down from lying, and only because after many, many minutes he off-handedly mentions that the footage he's about to show isn't actually from the game (and it's left to the viewer to figure out that it's the same footage that's been shown before).
im never watching another video from this scumbag. i feel pity for all the people getting led on by their nose and misinformed by this asshole.
If you paid attention to the video you'd realise he's not only given a first look into what Bethesda is trying to create, but used what was likely the only example he had to demonstrate the capabilities of the technology so the mass audience could understand its capabilities. It expounds upon the possibility of what TES VI could be going forward given the technology they've chosen to use. He even mentions where the footage is from and has linked it in his description.
Pay a bit more attention and you won't be misled. Don't get your hopes up for complete content this early in development.

He could have placed a watermark stating that it wasn't game footage as well.

That is one of my gripes about Skyrim. The voice actors didn't have the same passion for the game and the lore and it was noticeable. I hope they get true fans to voice act this next time, then you'll get someone with enough respect and attention to detail to honor Shirley.
One way that they can incorporate Shirley is to have the beginning of TES VI could be to have the beginning of the game be kind of like Fallout 3

I hope Shirley will be a Jarl. I love Balgruuf from Whiterun (even if I did have to kick him out for the Stormcloak quest line).
I think shirleys character will be a wholesome grandma character who love the player and is just like a grandma.
Like a friendly inn keeper that gives you a side quest to find elderscrolls artifacts from previous games.

Yep, I think she should be herself in the game as much as possible. Maybe have a library full of stories. And help with quests with advice. Or maybe she wants to go adventuring but her reflexes are not what they used to be and we are her protector. So many possibilities.
I hope it will be as good as skyrim. Spending 5000 hours in a tes game is great.

Oblivion really was better than Skyrim, as an RPG. Ever since Morrowind, Elder Scrolls games only had linear narrative role-playing, which Skyrim watered down largely and became more of a sandbox game with rpg gameplay. Skyrim had better open-world (probably one of the best, if not the best designed open-world to this day) looked better and had some advanced mechanics in comparison.
Wonder what TES6 will be doing.

She would not fight but would follow you around offering you a sweet roll once per day and while in battle she would heal you when getting to low health, to unlock her you would need to to a special quest called “Immortal caring” What you are required to do is take care of her by doing tiny side missions. After the side missions are over it will be reveled she is a friend of a deadra, it is similar to a daedras best friend. After this she becomes a choice for a follower. One special thing about her character is if you give her ingredients that can be made into food in a day you can check back into her inventory and you can find stew or cooked meat. If you read all the way through thank you, also DEATH TO THE THALMOR

That's such a good idea. And maybe she has an apprentice that she's training. Shirley has a side quest to follow you around the world to gather rare alchemy ingredients, then once the quest finishes she gives ownership of the shop to her apprentice and becomes a potential follower.

Don’t recall them saying anything about changing their engine, in fact they’ve stated that they will still be using the same one as Fallout 76. I’ll wait until Starfield arrives since that’s also running on the same engine as TES 6 and Fallout 76, if that game is shit then I highly doubt TES 6 will be good.

@@SauceThe2nd Then you haven't seen any bad releases in your life. I've played many games over couple of decades (tad more) and I've seen by far worse releases. I also played Fallout 76 and was in it's beta and it's release was actually OK, as far as game goes. Problems with activating the game and refunds, or game design or story are not the game itself (as a software, that is). And Fallout 76 as a game by itself had pretty much no problems for me. Worked well, no lag, was very stable (no crashes), I had it on highest settings and performance was good at all times. So no, it wasn't even close, by far, to "worst release ever". There were issues with activating the game code and logging to servers and such, but game by itself was and is solid. Not perfect, of course, but pretty solid.
Well the trailer's description puts the release date as *_2026_* so it's hopefully not gonna be rushed...

@@isaacwalton3324 while there are people who hate online which includes me since i prefer single player to online as there are alot of trolls, grifters and other asshole players wishing to ruin your gaming experience just for the fun of it. there are also people love online and these people who love being online are hardcore for online and any new game that is in development they want it to be online and the companies that make the games will always go for the online option since they make alot of money off it especially if they add tons of DLCS and put in premium currency for in-game shops that have best armors, weapons and any other stuff that the players will find interesting.
