      Absolutely correct. And there's really nothing else like it. Astrocreep 2000 is pretty good, as well, but man, this album really had something special going on. Totally stands the test of time. Nothing in existence can touch the heavy grooves and creatively unique lyrics of LS: DMV1. Classic masterpiece of metal, for sure.

    Awesome as hell- did you notice all the quotes from the original " Night of the Living Dead"? The part " Do you have to open graves to find girls to fall in love with"? Is in the very begining of the movie. I have requested a reaction for this song for over a year from a bunch of channels. It is not some brand new rap song- but I think Rob Zombie raps pretty tight on this 1992 ( i think) classic. Great pic for " Metal Mondays"!

    • @themightyfp

      Free Bird thanks and I didn’t catch the NOTLD references but being he does all horror films it makes sense. Thanks ✌️

    • @Ray-Danger
      @Ray-Danger 5 лет назад +1

      "Do you have to open graves..." is from The Mummy(1932).
      There are many quotes from Dawn of the Dead(1978) & High School Confidential(1958), but none are from NotLD.

    • @jayhelm9632
      @jayhelm9632 5 лет назад

      @@Ray-Danger Thanks for pointing that out. I am going to go over some obvious things, since I took the time to look it all up.... The begining of WTPMF had me remembering and twisting the scenario. I could have sworn that during the horseplay in the graveyard
      at the begining, the lady had spoken that line. Upon review, it was actually the man who teasing her. She was obviously terrified the whole time. You are also right about
      The only other part in that song being actually from the 1978 " Dawn of the Dead" ( I personally find it a little to long- I prefere the 2004 remake ).
      The Night of the Living Dead sound
      clip does actually not happen until the 2nd song is starting. I would have to say the album kind of blurs together,
      but there are pauses between songs.
      There are altogether only three songs
      on the album inwhich clips from the actual 1968 " Night of the Living dead"
      are heard. I think it has been 27 years
      since it's release, and it is still a legendary, in my opinion. Looking it up
      was a trip, as for quite a few years this album was background music to a ton of drugs, jail and even being committed. The album has so much going on- from rush Limbaugh to Charles Stanley. Thanks for calling it out.
      album in my opinion

    • @jayhelm9632
      @jayhelm9632 5 лет назад

      @@themightyfp I had the movie clips mixed up- I apologize and explain below. I think if you were able to hear the whole album, and all the mixed in clips from different movies you would be fascinated how well it holds up, being released in 1992.

    Awesome! White Zombie is my all time favorite band so I couldn’t click on this fast enough! Rob Zombie is from New York but it’s definitely got a west coast vibe imo. And for sure, you’re absolutely right about metal having a different sound depending on where they came from geographically

    How bout for next Metal Monday, do a reaction to Rob Zombies lil bro' band called PM5K/Powerman 5000. Spider One/Rob's bro does more sci-fi lyrics/music unlike Rob who does horror theme lyrics/music. Songs I suggest are When World's Collide, Nobody's Real, They know who you Are, Neckbone or Standing 8 by PM5K. Maybe one day for Metal Monday you'll do a reaction to Hed Pe, song I suggest are Suffa, Renegade, Killing Time, Ground or No Tomorrow. Thx & keep the great reactions coming 👊 🤘

    Whoa! Nice pull. This whole album (La Sexercisto Devil Music Vol.1) is amazing. It’s one big trip. Very cool cadence. Very original. I was lucky enough to see them open up for Pantera a couple of times on this album. Amazing shows. People get confused by their name with “white” in it. Like he says in the song though “white line zombie”. That’s the 6th or 7th day of being up. Coke zombies.

    It's Rob Zombie and his band White Zombie (: Which I Always thought was way better than him by himself (: And these guys were always into fusing in musical sounds or creating more hip hop mix rock or like the singer would say the music was like a a disco mix with Rock (: West coast or East coast (: I say East coast because the band was formed in New York because Rob and his Female Bassist Sean met in a Art School there and I think and they formed the band there (: Very Experimental group too say the least and they always sounded like this super funky Hip Hop Jamming Disco Thrash group but really Amped Up (: Reacting too there music is great but you really have too react too them live too get there vibe (: Althow a lot of people will say that there sound was copied or duplicated from The Group Ministry because of the similarities in sound and that Ministry was the first on the scene with that sound (: The difference I Think is Ministry wasn't so hip hop or disco and more like edgy controlled beats and rhythms as a opposed too being more fused with hip hop Disco fused rock beats and rhythms also both bands had a lot of horror movie or Tv intros, One liners and sound effects mixed in too give the sound more creativity or flavor (: Ministry too me sounded better because there singer had more I guess vocal control than Rob did and wasn't always out of breath than Rob was at live shows (: But both bands were awesome live as far as the instrumentation was concern really tight bands with there music period (: They can play No Doubt about That (: And the other difference which is a shame for Rob is that White Zombie split up and never formed again I think and Ministry is still going I Think (: And I axxlways Like White Zombie as a band mainly because of its members thst were such Badasses playing music especially the female bassesist Sean Yseaults I think that how her name is (: But Yes this chic can really kick ass on the bass and the rest of the band is the absolute SHIT PERIOD (:

    White Zombie was the original that started it all. Then Rob Zombie was a poor try cash grab at doing the same but more repeditive and simpler mindless hooks. Wasn't much a fan of his solo stuff at all. Like his movies it's recycled copies of old and done already works.
