As far as the whole relationship part, I think this is a good example of why w lot of couples recommend getting 2 bedroom apartments so they can exist separately when needed and maintain their individuality. I think it’s great that you guys were able to use this experience to learn something about yourselves and your relationship, even though it may not haves started off the best to get there. Keep growing, learning, and loving 🫶🏾
I love your transparency about your relationship. It’s the reality that people will do what works for them IN THEIR relationship. It put me back in a moment where I reflected living with a man, and it taught me, I need two bathrooms, two rooms, and patience, grace, understanding for it all to work out! Yea people do not realize how different it is to be with someone in their day to day elements! You have to either be aligned, willing to compromise, or stay living separately! I’ve definitely realized living alone is underrated and as much as I love my current husband I definitely miss it at times but we are both introverts who have our own dedicated space in our apartment (even if it’s small) and we are very transparent when we need space and we try not to take it personally. It works for us ❤ much love to you and thank you for sharing this
