The bad thing about hearing stories like this one, and Roy Benavidez is imagining how many guys were thrown in those piles of bodies, who weren't found, but could have made it.
16:55 the nickname "The terror of Morocco" comes from his time in the French foreign legion. It has said that he was a fearless warrior in Morocco. Also a fun fact: his brother Ilmari Juutilainen was the most succesful non-german fighter pilot ace with 94 aerial victories. Legendary brothers.
Nick always knows how to get tax write offs in his videos. That was the point in his old lady coming in with the gun so he could write it off as a business expense. Lol
Greetings from Finland - Sisu is a unique Finnish concept. It is a Finnish term that can be roughly translated into English as strength of will, determination, perseverance, and acting rationally in the face of adversity.
It is funny how the whole UK is shut down for 2 inches of snow. Even if snowchains were legal you wouldnt need the if not very extreme sitations. I have lived my whole life in Finland and even lapland and never used or seen used snowchains on cars. All you need is winter tires.
You guys need to check out Kentucky Ballistics "My 50cal blew up" it's incredibly informative and not graphic at all but still very entertaining. Then watch more of Scott's videos .
I live in British Columbia Canada and our winter is all f**ked up this is the first winter where we've had almost no snow and it's only been -8 it feels like spring
they announce just making movie simo häyhä. coming out 2026 or 2027. thanx to great reaction and have wonderful day. also sisu 2 coming out this or next year.
you speak of us marine legend and well respected! carlos "white feather" hathcock killed a crap load and 2 deadly snipers that no one could kill he famously shot him through his scope through eye killing him! guy is a legend! with simo and audie murphy!!!
HE'S TALKING ABOUT ARMY SGT. ROY BENEVEDEZ....HE Wasn't a Sniper. He was the "unkillable soldier" "the soldier who took a knife to gunfight" "the real life Rambo"...not Hatcock...Roy was the one zipped up in a body bag and spit in the docs face!
The people you’re referring to are Roy Benevedez who was ARMY special forces and Aimo Koivunen. The second one is probably spelled wrong, but he was the Finnish soldier in that took way too much meth.
And yet Britain gave the world the Christmas animation classic 'The Snowman'. The Winter War lasted 105 days. Regarding the Battle of Kollaa, in which Häyhä fought and which encapsulated the Spirit of Winter War. One Finnish division fought against four Soviet divisions. At the beginning of the battle around 15 900 Soviets fought against 3 000 Finns. Estimated 1 300 Finns and 8 000 Soviets were killed in that battle. In the most active day the Soviet artillery fired 30 000-40 000 shells to Finnish positions, to which Finns could return fire with less than 1000 shells. In the end the Finns were so few in numbers and exhausted, that while one was sleeping in a sitting position, another was firing riffle using his shoulder as a stand.
I live an hour south of Buffalo. Their stadium is probably the snowiest of all major stadiums. That’s what they get for building a city next to two giant lakes. Just two years ago there was a bad blizzard that made a couple inch thick layers of ice on people’s houses
Scandinavia is only 3 countries Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The others with Finland are grouped with them as "Nordic countries". The vikings are also foreign to Finns and had battles with them in the past as well with the ancestors of Russians. Finland was basically always the battleground and meatshield between Scandinavians and Russians.
Fantastic reaction! I'm from rural Oregon in the U.S. and I have questions. Your comments suggest that you both have fired rifles at least semi frequently. My impression is that few people in Europe are able to have weaponry. Am I wrong in that? Subscription added!
It’s not as common to own guns in the U.K. but it’s still legal here just super super restricted and hard to hold/maintain a license. I grew up in Zimbabwe some family on farms had guns and our school took us on trips that included using guns (safety in the bush and all that!)
Great fu**ing reaction! This is how to do it. You even pause when you have something to say and shuts up when the clip is rolling. That's fu**ing rare to see from reactors. The story of this guy is is legendary and after this you definetly have to do a reaction to Sabaton - White Death. Great Swedish metal about this guy
Thanks for a great video. The "amfetamin"/Pervitin soldier was also Finnish😅. The numbers are even higher than in this video. According to Simo and many historians he killed 542 enemies with his rifle and 200-300 with his Suomi sub machine gun. So the total number is over 700 enemies. He was asked what he felt when killing people? He said he only killed enemies and the only thing he felt was recoil. Aarne Juutilainen is also worth of a video. And "the Soldier of three armies" Lauri Törni or Larry Thorne in the US special forces.
18:22 Scandinavian here. Fins are not Scandinavian. Scandinavia is Denmark, Norway and Sweden. They are however Norse or Nordic, like people from Iceland
We just got 5", I live in the US and you can't use chains in our state but 5" here only made stuff difficult for one day. How do you think a T-Rex🦖 would do in the snow?😂
The Finnish are not part of Scandinavia. Historins believe they people of Finland, Sweeden, and Norway migrated to those regions around 9,000 years ago. But as being Danish myself I can say that Scandinavian is more than just a location. It's rooted in the Heritage. In this case it comes a lot from Viking Heritage. And from my understanding the Finnish never adopted the Viking Culture. Though I think they would have made some great Vikings.
I read once that Vikings actually were afraid of finns, because they thought finns can control weather and had other magic too. I'm 50% finn and 50% swedish, so I don't know what that makes me. 😅
I’m 37 but todays years old when I found out the uk has winter at the same time we do in the usa I thought that the earth tilted in a way where we where further away and got cold while tilting them closer and they got you know warmer……. Well color me dumbfounded
...Both the US and the UK are in the northern hemisphere, so they have seasons at the same time. Places like Australia or Brazil that are in the southern hemisphere have their seasons at the opposite time. You were both horribly mistaken and kinda on the right track.
@ ahh well my team (Colts) did the exact same thing lol we’ve looked terrible lately and our owner posted a thing on Twitter saying he’s keeping both the HC and GM after fans have been calling for them to be fired.
You're talking about Sgt. ROY BENEVEDES the Soldier who went into a gunfight with a knife...and they didn't bring enough guns to a Roy Benevedes fight!...the "real life Rambo"...Texas boy and one of the badest men in history! WATCH TFE'S VIDEO ON HIM!
I mean, that really just depends on the design of the gun. Rimmed cases are always harder to deal with in any magazine fed design, and the lower manufacturing standards of .22 rimfire mean it's usually less reliable, but I've never had a jam on either my .22 lr Henry or my Kel-tec CP33. The CP33 has had dud rounds, but not jams.
@AnarchyShogun from my experience a semi auto .22 jams more than anything because of the size of the round but to be fair I have never shot any steel casing ar rounds that I hear jam a lot
My ancestors also liked to travel and find opportunities. Mostly finding opportunities to breed with the locals... Which is why although the name "Rood" isn't super common, you'll find a few of us around every corner. lol
Finland isnt part of the scandic mountain range so it is not really a part of Scandinavia but it is part of the Nordic countries. which includes Iceland as well. Now if you wanna make some jabs at Finnish friends you could always call it east Sweden. Altough i dont recommend you doing that face to face with a Finn unless you know them really well and is on friendly terms at which point you will just get a lot of insults your way usually stuff about how weak everyone else is. Anyways as someone raised on the border to Finland i rather like the Finns and the mindset of the far north of Sweden is very similar to the Finns in many ways.
@ No kidding?I’m a J-E-T-S 🚽ets 🚽ets 🚽ets fan but I’m shocked BOTH Brian Daboll & Joe Schoen are still employed. At least you don’t have any more Daniel Jones season’s to dread, right?? P.S. Sorry about telling Dave to play with your crafting shit while you’re gone that one time.
I just want to say he is wrong in few things, most imposrtantly he sai 249 or 8 killed without scope..... this is totally wrong bdcause he always used his good old rifle with ironsights.... nextafter 500+ kills he kik the 248kills with suomi m/31 smg...... so he got actually 700+ confirmed kills... who knows how much he did in the end
The enemy of my enemy is a "friend" we needed help US and UK wouldn't give it so of course we will take it from the one who is willing to help. Most if not all finns were is the dark about what yatzees where doing. And before you say anything about finns in the SS any and all foreigners were put in to the SS foreign legion there was no choice if you wanted training.
That's false. Finland was quite neutral but because the allies didn't really help, finns didn't trust them any more, so thought leaning to germany's side was better at the time. And then the nazis burned lapland and finns didn't like that either and got rid of them.
this comment shows your very little historical knowledge. Nobody else were willing to help us and we have had a friendly history with the germans since the early 1900s, so obviously we were going to take their help when they offered it. Also the soviet union was an allied nation which meant that no allied nation would help us, we literally had no choice. At the time the nazis weren't seen in as bad lighting as today since what happened and what they did were simply not known. Of course there were people in Finland who liked the nazis, like in every country, but most were neutral. There was also people like, the Marshall of Finland Carl G. E. Mannerheim, who didn't even like the nazis but still collaborated with them to achieve victory. It isn't always as black and white as you think. I suggest you to learn more about history to not make such accusations
Shit roads aren't just a British thing trust me. It's as if they could fix them right so this doesn't happen. But if they did that wouldn't they be losing out on tax money???
And how much do you guys pay in taxes for shit roads? I get it as an American why our roads are pretty bad, but man, the way people talk online, European governments actuality use the taxes they collect for appropriate things.
Seems like less and less as time goes on. It depends on your area and postcode for the amount of council tax you pay. Our roads in towns are managed by the local council.
You seem like nice guys but the girl in the video with the fun was just annoying. And the guy also. Atleast at that point. Just had to say that. Take care 🙏
This was said wit a bit of anger and a bit of annoyance over those you reacted to at the moment. Mostly the girl. But also me. I was a bit to fast to judge. Loved you're reaction and loved your explanation 👏❤️
The bad thing about hearing stories like this one, and Roy Benavidez is imagining how many guys were thrown in those piles of bodies, who weren't found, but could have made it.
Finland is not technically a Scandinavian country. Scandinavia refers to just Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. Finland is, however, a Nordic country.
Interesting, I didn't know that distinction before
Yeah dont call us scandinavians we dont really like that!!😂
Yes. And Scandinavian peninsula is part of Fennoscandian peninsula.

18:28 No, Finland is not part of Scandinavia.
Apparently they are starting to work on a movie about Simo Häyhä.
Long past due for that

It's about as cold in Florida right now as it is in England. I seriously considered pulling out my winter sandals this morning. 😏
Tuesday, January 7th, it was warmer in Anchorage, Alaska throughout the day than much of central Florida and all of northern Florida.
I live in British Columbia Canada and our winter is all f**ked up this is the first winter where we've had almost no snow and it's only been -8 it feels like spring
38:08 Roy Benavidez. Not a Marine, but a Green Beret. Army Special Forces. Marines are their own branch, but they're closer to the Navy than the Army.
There is no man more dangerous, than a man who just wants to be left alone.
