- Former President Donald Trump made his first public appearance after Saturday's assassination attempt on Monday evening, the first night of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. Trump walked into the convention hall with a bandage over his injured right ear and waving to the crowd as Lee Greewood performed “God Bless the USA,” a regular feature of the former president’s rallies.
