UK viewer here, i changed mine 2x in a week on my 2015 Yaris 1.3L CVT, first time was 2 yrs ago at 88k & changed mine 2x in a week as it takes 2.2L each drain so got a 5L bottle. 2nd time 1x recently so keeping the rest stored in my house so no moisture gets in it sitting in the garage. 2yrs ago a 5L bottle of FE cost me £65 but recently it's £75 😯 Will use up the rest maybe next year so i'll know my fluid is tip top & will change again in 5yrs time with roughly 25k added. I didn't remove the wheel as i had room under the hood & used a garden hose pipe 7 a funnel. I get 58mog (Best) which is v.good & it's roughly the same as the 6 speed 1.3L.
@@Neyo_23 No Because it's not actually filter is just a strainer. Is just a mash the only man to cut a bigger pieces that broke off to avoid any further damage. That filter do not filter out any micro particle. So in my opinion it useless to replace.
@@MohammedIBRAHIM-iw1xl the proper procedure is to verify proper level by getting the fluid to 95-113F first, and then open the main drain plug to allow excess fluid to exit via the stand tube until it is more of a trickle (don't wait for dripping action or you'll have the fluid over-temp!). Should be more like the qty in the manual, like 3 quarts.
I have to do this on my Camry with the WS conventional transmission. What size capacity is your plastic drain container? I already have 2 steel ramps and two floor jacks and plenty of jack stands.....Tony
After reaching 95-113F you'd install the plug ....and the next time you drain, plug and stand-tube, you'd have 3qt. If you only got out 2 or 2.5, do NOT assume that is/was the correct amount. I just did my 3rd drain fill on my 18 and did it numerous times on my 12 Camry....so I have experience doing this, and I've checked pan temps with an infrared gun.
always 3Qts, I have a 20' Camry, Highlander and it's always 3Qts.... (I guess 3Qts in the pan.... The rest that we can't get out unless you vacuum it, Oil Cooler, Torque converter?)
Thank you for the great video

Good except for skipping the most crucial step of setting the fluid level according to the factory manual instructions.
So is not necessary to change the filter on 2020 camry ?

@@IvanRossS oh ok thank you so much for then info bro GOD bless 🙏💯
Is it a first time to change the transmission fluid at 200k miles?
@KanaparthiRajkumar no lol. You should do it at like 60 k
Thanks for sharing
How many quarts total you replaced?
He used almost 10, but was flushing the total system out by draining and refilling. He used about 2.5 quarts each time he changed the fluid.

At how many miles do you have to replace the fluid? Thanks
60,000
it's nasty at 60K, don't let the dealer tell you 100K!!! Wife's Highlander at 62K is black!!! Glad I did it NOW!!
Do one drain fill at 50...do another before 100, that sort of thing.

@@richcombs4805this is the only correct reply in these comments.
After running the engine and drain the ATF, amount came out is as same amount of 1st time which is no engine running.
Forget to add ?
