I appreciate your honesty, I willlllll say I am curious if it is headphone translation thing cus if you put his vocal in mono it is very forward. You know me I am very particular and wouldn’t let a thing like that slide lol. You had me thinking I was tripping so i had to check that both vocals are the same volume from first to second lol. As far as the accompaniments that was on intentional so I think that comes down to personal preference which is what we are hear to see. Thank you for keeping it real on your end cus if you don’t like something you still let it be known
The headphone thing is true, because if this was recorded on apple headphones then listened to android headphones there is a slight transition thingy for the bass sense of the said peice, but that’s just my opinion, good job tho

To explain the breathy chorus; it's like the emo style singing, the drawn out bits you point out are on purpose. It might be a play at how Miguel is super edgy lol

Nah they both the same volume lol I went back and checked. But he still felt like something was missing and that’s valid if it wasn’t working for him although it was intentional. That’s why we come here though to hear his opinion
