I bought a second hand 2014 Triumph Thunderbird LT, and put quite a bit of money into it to fit me. Apehanger bars, Corbin seat, slip-on mufflers, etc. The one thing that I Hate, are the saddle-bags.😢 I've reinforced the bags from the inside to reduce how Badly they sag. So different saddle bags are next on my list. It is, for what it is, a very Good handling motorcycle. Lean angle not great, but also not too bad. So, you drag the floorboards sometimes, they have Tungsten Carbide scrapper bars on them for protection, and they work great. I thought of selling it, but now that I've had it for a couple years, I think I'll keep it.😂 Oh yeah, one other thing, the belt drive churp was driving me nuts, until I put Teflon on the sides of the belt, and I shimmed the rear drive pulley to line up with the front drive pulley.😅
I’ve always liked triumphs and now they’ve gone and out done themselves that is a beautiful bike you might want to shop around for insurance if it’s that expensive.. oh don’t take the food board off you’ll learn to love them
Get some TORS. It will sound better. Comes with free mapping. I've just purchased identical bike but I'm in Australia. Same colour. I've just fitted mine out with quite a few luxury items including power supply in the panniers.
They have one at a local triumph dealer. I was Intested in it untill they started it, I laughed because it reminds me of the jetsons spaceship. I walked away due the sound and limited to no aftermarket options.

Hi Noel, I have now installed the TORS as well. I like the sound much better. Gonna try to post a video with the new pipes.
I bought Foren pipe from Aust. Stainless steel ..looks like chrome sounds great. $1800
Good video. It is hard to find any reviews of this model triumph worth watching.
Beautiful
If it had a cruise control I would've bought one. Elected for the road king, I like that its liquid cooled though...
You can have a cruise installed
Could not agree more. Slightly more shocking is that the rocket 3 touring also does not have cruise control, certainlyvin UK.
Beautiful bike.
I really like Triumph and Yamaha.
Definitely like
Triumphs road king, homerun
These seem cool , you can buy a low mileage used on for cheap though I wonder why
Cause its not a Harley, so you dont need to pay for the lack of perceived status
@@Chris-Brown- Exactly, wrong company name on it is the only thing keeping the prices down on these. i hope the prices stay low until I get mine!
Nice bike. Didn't think the ad for the Jeep fit in, and would have been nice to have RIDE review, but it's an amateur thing, so what ya' gonna do?

Not true . There is Tors exhaust that is available and also Vance and Hines. You laugh but it's a bargain of a deal for a very reliable bike.
@@mjsmith8641 yea i just bought one with 6k miles for $4800 from as dealer i was laughing riding away....incredible machine
@@TheIronWord ,.yes it is. Very underrated.
I just recently picked up a 2014 with Vance and Hines aftermarket slip ons, with the normal baffles. Sounds great!
Bike is just as nice as the fat boy harley, i would take one in an heart beat too bad they stopped making them.
I liked the review until it became an ad for the Jeep. Bait and switch. Once he went there, I stopped watching. Morale: get to the point.
He does go back to the bike. It's RUclips... getting a little slice of every creator's life
