I feel like I need to point this out This song when translated comes off a bit more sexual sounding when translated from Korean For example the line “good girl” is not what they actually said In reality they said “착해” which technically just means kind I need to point out that in Korean, you don’t always attach a pronoun to a phrase For example, you can just say the word “cool” or “kind” to a person without attaching the “you/you’re” and it automatically just means “you’re cool/you’re kind” this kind of thing does depend on context though during the conversation It should also be pointed out that BTS very rarely uses the direct pronouns to refer to anyone, so anything can be directed to anyone Sometimes the “you’re not being punished” line comes off wrong sounding. Technically it isn’t wrong, but it’s just another example of how certain lines that come off a bit more sexual when translated I feel like the translator tried to find ways that would translate best into English which wouldn’t come off awkwardly, however this means that certain phrases/lyrics give off a different meaning which can seem to give off the wrong kind of idea Of course you still get the main point of the song, but I felt the need to let you guys know Thank you for reacting, love your videos 💜💜💜

I don't think he means that it's not important. I think he is saying you should do your best, but your life isn't over if you fail, AFTER you've put in the effort. Sometimes there is so much pressure to be #1, that people get extremely depressed and feel like failures if they aren't the best in their class, or at their work. Truth is, Yoongi is probably one of the hardest working, most driven people in the world, so he is not saying you shouldn't work hard. He's just saying that it's ok to fail if you tried your best. And, don't let other people decide who you will be. Do YOU to the best of your ability.

Watching this as a live performance at Muster after knowing the lyrics is crazy! They performed it sooo seductively and like it was maybe the hottest thing ever, and the song is all about how they seduce army away from the things they should actually be doing :') beautiful
Yep, the Pied Piper of Hamlin, hired by the town to draw the plague rats out of town with the song from his flute, but then the villagers refuse to pay, so he returns in the night, this time, drawing the children from their beds, never to be seen again. It's where the saying "it's time to pay the piper" comes from. BTS is being cheeky, but affectionate, with ARMY.
The song is about the guilt of taking money from fans but at the same time they know they need us to survive. I really do feel it creates the motivation for them to give back even more and be grateful of the things that they have achieved because of ARMY. This song is brilliant, this what makes them special because we know that love myself campaign comes together or just right after the launch of the song (LY HER album). You should check out on twitter when ARMY posted #gradesforbangtan, its hilarious and shows there are many smart ARMY out there that can balance their life and support BTS at the same time, its one of the most interactive song ever made because of this.

I remember when the album Her came out and we were all kinda freaking out cause BTS dissed us. We had fun with it and still use pied pipered as a frase. Like being obsessed etc. We joked about it a lotttt. Still do. And boys themselves said about it that it wasn't a diss track or anything and that they're very grateful to us for all the love we give them. I think they thought we were serious or something but we were just joking and that was kinda sad. We all love that song very very much and the lyrics and melody are just....!!!!!! The song is about the guilt of taking money from fans but at the same time they know they need us to survive. I really do feel it creates the motivation for them to give back even more and be grateful of the things that they have achieved because of ARMY. This song is brilliant, this what makes them special because we know that love myself campaign comes together or just right after the launch of the song (LY HER album). You should check out on twitter when ARMY posted #gradesforbangtan, its hilarious and shows there are many smart ARMY out there that can balance their life and support BTS at the same time, its one of the most interactive song ever made because of this.

You are absolutely right. The song is for army. It’s a warning that once we started listening to them we’ll be drawn in their music and may even go far like collecting their photos etc. but the song also says live our life army. Listen to them but not devote our entire daily life to them. Boys also want us not to say goodbye to them. They can be dangerous if we don’t hold on tight to ourselves. Let them be guide but not our life.

I remember when the album Her came out and we were all kinda freaking out cause BTS dissed us. We had fun with it and still use pied pipered as a frase. Like being obsessed etc.
We joked about it a lotttt. Still do.
