If we ever get to visit Japan one day, this is one of the places we have to visit O.O I also felt so bad for the guy getting ignored by the shibas! I hope he goes back again and has better luck!
For us we just showed up and bought tickets on the spot, then they said what time we can come back if it’s busy at that time since sometimes there will be a wait (for us the next open session was an hour later)! They have a sign at the entrance of next available time usually
