My problem with this Anime is that there is no point of Ash being here. With Go basically being another version of him

go is a complete foil to ash. ash is more of a rash guy that jumps into things and is more emotionally based. while go thinks things through. ash is essentially Go's mentor and makes him learn more about how pokemon and people can interact
