What an honor and a privilege it was for you to get to visit Fujisan! And your plan to beat the crowds worked perfectly! Thanks for taking us along! Due to my health and finances, I can never hope to visit her, but I completed an online virtual challenge to climb her virtually here at home! The challenge was through The Conqueror and it included all five of the lakes, as well as the slope of Fujisan herself! It was 47 miles in total and it took me 6 months to complete it due to my health. I did some of it in my wheelchair and some on my exercise bike, but I did most of it on my ski machine. I haven't actually touched her, but I climbed her! Right here in my livingroom! 🩷🩷
That's amazing
@@DirectInputthanks. 🩷
you did more than most will ever dream of when it comes to that Mountain. Who knows. Maybe in the next world you breeze by it daily.
That would be awesome! @melykm4051
Took this exact trip today. Had a clear day and missed the crowds. Passed the tour groups on my way back. Had lunch in Tokyo Best part of my trip so far. Thank you!
So many great views of Mount Fuji and you managed to avoid the crowds as well.
Wow, what a view. You can see ships in the harbor. Let's count them.❤ Sunflower ❤Sunflower 2 of them two sunflower ferries 🎉😂😂😂
so beautiful. thank you for sharing
Mt. Fuji is one of the most beautiful and recognizable in the world. What an incredibly clear and close-up view you gave us!
As a person with many food allergies, I appreciate seeing you eat all the foods I cannot enjoy. Thank you.
I am so glad I found your channel. I will be sure to leave extra extra early for Fujisan. And I've been watching your videos. Your joy and enthusiasm for eating is at Hobbit levels! I love it so much!
Thank you so much for creating this travel vlog. If I ever get to travel to Japan, I feel confident that I will be able to travel the trains to see Fujisan. And, I will remember to wake up very early so that I can avoid the crowds.
What a beautiful, dormant volcano.
I ended up using this for our own trip, and it worked out perfectly! Much appreciated!
Very nice! A great day for you! It's one of those unique, iconic sights for sure! Those hamburgers too!!!!
I agree, going to tourist hot spots early on weekdays is the best way to avoid crowds.
Ça me rappelle de merveilleux souvenirs
Whoaa.. Rarely do I ever get to see a beef patty bigger than the bun itself!! 🤣🤣🤣 The view of Mt. Fuji was beautiful!! You picked a great day to visit and yes, it is worth getting up early and beating the tourist crowd to see it.
As always, thank you very kindly for sharing your journeys with us.
This route definitely works! I just followed the exact same route last Thursday! Definitely worthwhile to avoid the crowds. My God there was so many tourists at Kawaguchiko Station. So, so many people.
I had no idea you could take commuter trains from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji! That was a very good travel tip.
Oh wondrous. One day I aim to see the great mountain itself. Until then? Thankyou for allowing me to travel with you.
I'm so happy Fujisan wasn't wearing his cloak of clouds this day, thanks for taking us with you! 🇦🇺💝🇯🇵
Yeah..there's Step 4 of the plan--"Pray that everybody *else* doesn't have the same idea to go early to 'avoid the crowds'." Glad it worked out for you.
Getting there is also an adventure
Fuji San is beautiful and majestic
STJ, I fell behind on videos and have finally caught up to 25+ videos this past two weeks. It almost feels like I am in Japan... best videos, ever.
I love your idea of travel. No stressful exercise is required. But you have got to pack some snacks for those times that you are ahead of opening times.
I wonder how many of those foreign tourists are watching STJ videos for travel tips?
Mt Fuji is a gorgeous volcano. So perfect in form. I hope it stays dormant and gorgeous for some time to come.
Mount fuji was amazing thank you
STJ !! How lovely.
20:38, very beautiful cut… (especially with the sound of the train horns)
Thanks for always uploading : )
Thank you for the visit to Fujisan, you made all the effort and we got the joy 😅❤❤👵🏴🌹
You were lucky, seeing both sunny and cloudy versions ❤
Yippee! I always look forward to your new videos! 👍🏻❤️
I’m glad that you finally got to visit Mt. Fuji 🗻🗻
A beautiful trip to a spectacular site. Even the simplest foods in Japan are so aesthetically pleasing. The crane with your Matcha latte is so simple, but beautiful. American foods look like a trash bin in comparison. I would love to travel in Japan. Have you ever considered organizing an itinerary for foreign tourists. Your insight and knowledge of the beauty of Japan would be greatly appreciated by many. Some of us are quiet and respectful too!😊
living the dream
Wow!! What a beautiful view of Mt Fuji! Spectacular! Would love to see it in person. Thank you so much for such a wonderful video 😊
Thank u for waking early taking ud along this amazing trip👍👏👏🎉 Fuji-san is truly majestic👍..looking forward to the next trip (:
The lake view is beautiful
Thank you very much for this very usefull video!
Enjoy the people too. 😂
And wow!
If I had to go up so many stairs I would possibly have an asthma attack on my way up, and definitely wouldn't be able to move the next day, but that's because I'm in poor shape. Still wouldn't feel any regrets, because the views were amazing, but my legs would make me pay for that walk 😂
Very nice. Thank you.
yuru camp vibes✨
I’ll bet there are families in the residential areas close to the mountain with those views that have their property for many years and it stays in the family .
I was stationed in Japan around the mid 90s and I don’t remember the train announcements in English, I would love to go back and climb Mt. Fuji again, yes I know only a fool does it twice 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Yes!!!
Perfect, we did this trip 2 weeks ago except we grabbed the Azuza no 1 and changed at Otsuki . We were lucky to get some clear views of Fuji san before it clouded over. Thanks for posting.
Mt Fuji did NOT disappoint! Sooo beautiful! Only your Shikoku Mannaka Sennen Monogatari video was as good. I'd have no problem waking up early for the best views. When we go on a trip, I'm up at 3 am. It's when the vacation is over that I have trouble getting on the road before noon. Thanks for identifying Lake Kawaguchiko. I saw it in another vlog & have been going crazy trying to figure out the name. Lastly, that matcha looked delicious! I've been on serious matcha kick lately, but my lattes are sad in comparison.
Same here! It's amazing how early I'm up and ready for the day's adventure when on a trip, but the rest of the year the alarm clock is my enemy, lol.
A bit of a story about Chureito pagoda- a picture of it was in one of my elementary school literature books, accompanying a story about an arrogant sumo wrestler that was tricked by a fox. I don't remember anything else in that textbook, but that picture of the pagoda framed by the flowering trees and Fuji in the background immediately made an impression on me even though I knew nothing of Japan as a country, and it stayed with me for decades until I finally made plans to visit last October.
The weather was beautiful, and I was looking forward to crowning the end of my trip with a visit to the long-remembered pagoda....until I hurt my knee on the Nakasendo and my last week in Japan was spent with a bad limp restricted to museums and food.
My knee is all better now and I'm even more motivated to go back and see my view.
Beautiful ❤
ハクさん、こんにちは!!
ミスいつかジャパンは少し前に富士山に登った。雲一つない素晴らしい景色です。今日もコノハナサクヤヒメはあなたに微笑みかけていました。
17:11 I like the views from earlier this morning. 🗻 thank you so much for taking us and showing us such a beautiful view of Fujisan. If I’m ever in Japan, I definitely would try and do the same thing like you and get there early. 🎉 your videos are such a blessing. I appreciate them and I appreciate you.
10:28 breathtaking
Thank you for the incredible video. Thanks for sharing.
Love your sense of humor 💜
Fujisan is just delightful and majestic.
That's so cool how you got the cab view of the train going down the tracks! Another great video, thanks! :)

13:10 Imagine this view during winter with all the snow 😮❤🇯🇵
Absolutely gorgeous. Fuji-san is so majesric, and the surrounding scenery is amazing. Thank you for taking us along- I wouldn't make it up the stairs since I am disabled.
Mt.Fuji is such a beautiful, spiritual place. Thank you for taking the trip🙏🇯🇵❤️
My family drove around Fujisan on Oct 17th. It was an amazing trip! I think it is another way to really experience the majesty of Mt Fuji. We also drove around some of the Lakes. Then on to drive around a larger part of Japan. Your videos helped me more than you could imagine!
Wow amazing video! I can’t wait to see it myself in January! Thank you!
Hi ..many years ago when camping at the base of Mt Fuji I remember looking up in the dark if early morning and seeing the snow cap o Fuji pinkish red from the first rays of a rising sun. ..
So useful, I plan to go to Fuji one day 🗾
Thanks for the treat to my eyes❤
A splendid plan with splendid views!
I really like this pov video type! hope someday I can visit fujisan too❤

Thank you so much for this excellent video with such breathtaking views!!
What a view! Some day I’ll travel there to witness that.
Was there last week got the same view. It was beautiful!
No wonder Mt Fuji is so special, it looks like the perfect shape mountain. The scenery is stunning.
I liked the train with the Thomas the Tank Engine paintwork!
Amazing video
11:26 it is strange to see that phrase without empty plates and curry bowls in the background 😂
I missed that connection 1st time round. Well spotted.
I saw a puzzle that was a picture taken from the first spot when the cherry blossoming were blooming. It's such a gorgeous location for a photo! Thank you for showing us how to get there.
loks like we've both done the same puzzle, right down to the season!
You have done it again Solo san . Great idea using local trains. Boy you really stuck gold with your HOT hamburger,it's something you don't come across at fast food places. Gidday from Down Under 🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘
Good plan! Thank you🎉
When I went to Fujikawaguchiko back in spring this year, it was all waaaaay pre-planned itineraries, and not this last minute weather forecast planning. I stayed near Fujikyu-Highland Station, woke up early and took the first train to Shimoyoshida. Thinking back, I am really really thankful that the skies were a perfect cloudless blue the whole 3 days I was there. If it was cloudy, it would have made me so sad and I'd have left Japan feeling a tiny bit unfulfilled.
Side note : As much as I loved Kawaguchiko and what it has to offer, I recommend anyone going there to choose rental bicycles or drive around. I really hated the loop bus, it was jam packed with tourists(like me, *coughs* *ahem*). Once I had trouble alighting at a stop that not many people alighted from cos I was all the way at the back of the bus and the bus just drove off, so I had to alight at the next stop and backtrack(though backtracking wasn't that bad, since there's scenery to see).
You come up with such interesting concepts for your videos. I loved this excursion. Yours is my favorite channel! Arigato gozaimasu
very nice video. i plan to go to see Fujisan next year Jan and your video is very good guidance for me
Good work adding more variety to your videos! Although I miss Sunflower.😊
❤ these videos. Beautiful rural Japan. Mt. FUJI is magnificent. The food always looks so delicious. 😊😊
Once again you have shown me something I would never have seen on my own. Mt. Fugi is so beautiful. The vantage points you chose were perfect. Thank you so much. Happy travels. Love from N Carolina, USA.
