This game was a downgrade in almost every way. The body damage the story the feel and everything Just cause 3 actually had body damage unlike this piece of trash where it looks like red ketchup instead of blood. I just wish that just cause 5 will be a better game. I still play the 3rd one and it's Hella fun. I will put my trust in the developers that they will make just cause 5 a better game
my only complaint with just cause 3 that carried over to this is the body physics and the blood and gore effects make regular kills SO unsatisfying. enemies are these lifeless weightless bouncy statically animated things. when you shoot a little blood spurts out but nothing falls to the ground or stays. the bodies dont have any visible wounds on them. you can drop an enemy 7 stories and they hit the ground and bounce. thats... not how that works lol. compare this to a game from several years ago like red dead redemption. you shoot them and they react to the bullet, blood splatters the near by surface or the floor, they fall over with actual weight and thud into the ground, then blood pools up. the destruction physics are fantastic (as well as the new weather physics) but the human physics are atrocious. the only reason kills are satisfying at all is because you can do them in such creative ways. sending enemies flying or blowing them up or or sending them off a ledge or tying them to explosives is awesome. i just wish they got the blood, gore, and physics down. Id even be happy with lower standard physics like ragdolls. you dont need to do complex euphoria like red dead or max payne but at least give them ragdolls with proper weight that makes each death different. and make the blood do something other than just spurt into the air then disappear.
When in a large gunfight, I dont care so much about the animations. But when Im just dicking around, it gets really anoying with ragdolls made of rubber.
I would still buy it one of the main reasons is the weather shit that happens also does it last forever or when you finish the game it will never occur?
This game looks larger than red dead, and has really good graphics? People calling it bad? I’ve never played this series before. Am I missing something? Lack of story, etc?
It's a big map and you basically run around blowing stuff up and messing around. The story is trash. It's definitely not a bad game, there just isn't much to do besides experiment on how to blow stuff up.
