I love their debut so much. they feel like a completely different entity to bts but they somehow have a big hit vibe. They are in fact very young boys and this cute concept is very suitable. I don’t even usually like cute concepts but they are pretty charming
It was really really good...i loved it....and the album is really good too....tbh i feared they would debut with too cutesy or childish song like the chewing gum song by nct dream.....but this was so youthful and refreshing. And in their interview they said that byeomgyu and hyuning kai who r 16 are already composing and writing for their next album.

I didn't expect to like this song so much after hearing the teaser but it just isn't getting old. I find TXT's vibe very different from BTS'; not surprisingly, BigHit isn't that foolish. Some argue that TXT is similar to a few current boys groups, but when is that not the case anytime a new group debuts? It will come down to who an individual prefers. I personally prefer TXT right now. They managed to make this young concept pleasing for me because I typically don't like it. Yay for TXT.

Coming back to this after Eternally to revisit the Matrix references... with hindsight, we can confirm that those references were definitely intentional. TXT is fully developing a coming-of-age story based on portal fantasy and multiple realities.. and while there are more horror elements to the MVs now, I think these Matrix references show a latent darkness and a mature and referential approach to storytelling from the onset of the TU.
To me it feels like a save song to debut with, very kpopy, it reminds me of songs I like from Seventeen. I like the story Crown tells, its very sweet and heartwarming, though I dont like how people degrade them to being some sort of BTS-Spin off trying to connect storys, I´m sure BH will through in Easter-Eggs to for people who follow both, but I delive they´ll respect them enoght as individuel artists to let each have their own story to tell, so just because we have the symbol like wings, which is a veeeery popular symbol or the angle a popular charactar, its sad that its emediatly seen as "Oh thats BTS" and TXT cant be seen as an "stand alone group"/story .... Soo many mixed emotions on this whole thing, but I enjoyed their MV, and will be a casual listener for sure!

I really love that Bighit always makes such interesting mvs that you always notice and learn something new. TXT only just debuted but you can already notice their own music style which is crazy for a complete rookie
Crown was amazing. I think if people were too become a little too technical with every group's release they'd realise that everyone else sound "typical" too. I feel like some can have unrealistic expectations on TXT. They just debuted and contrary to what these people think in my opinion it was a solid and cohesive debut and the boys still have a lot of potential for growth.
It's BH, of course there will be a storyline. As I can see after watching their MV's, they are again entertaining the alternate realities and multiverse idea and I like it. We will be trying to connect and figure things out and that's why I stan BigHit. For now it seems like TXT is playing with Matrix like story line with a bit of Harry Potter. Gfriend seems to play with Alice in wonderland, check them out.
The one with the backwards hat, Soobin looks like a mix between Minhyuk from BTOB and Sanha from Astro. That's maybe why you thought he looked familiar.

Huening Kai is Korean-American (father American mother Korean), he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. From his fathers side he is German, Polish, Brazilian and Scottish. This is by far my favorite debut this year and not because it's a BH group but their music, charisma and talent are really amazing in my book. Can't wait to see them grow ^^

well, what you said about the horns and the crown and how the boy eventually found someone who is "the same" is completely what the story is about. they had their debut show yesterday and mnet uploaded the part with the story/origin for the song. you may or may not already checked it out. when i saw their concept pictures i thought they were going for a retro concept. i don't know why but i thought of like 70s/80s. the clothes, the colours, and the effects, which was all included in the video as well. the song is nice, the chroreo clean. the editing is also well done. i like it. the whole album is fine. i hope they will do well! also: i think your mic was working weard 😅

When I first watched the mv I couldn’t stop smiling. It made my happy and it’s a summer bop. The album is good, I think they played it safe for a debut so I’m excited to see them grow as artists and establish their own sound and style
In txt' back story that is provided in the beginning of their debut stage it is said that the boy with horn ran away to a place no one would see him or judge him and with that story is a little animation where he is absorbed into a different world and that's where they meet the boy with wings who teaches him how to love his horns. Maybe that different world has something to do with the matrix?

True... it could be the director just loving the movie... but this is BigHit and (if I’m not mistaken) Lumpens working on the MV... Rarely anything they do is just “because”, you know? Anyway! YES. I was waiting to be taught and you came through. I love this new series: "The Kulture Study" where everything is more detailed. I loved the song. I'm not really into "overly cute concepts" because I somehow find them cringy, but the story behind the song and the meaning of it made the MV endearing to me. And the members already seem to have chemistry with each other, so that made it not awkward. I haven't listened to the other songs yet, maybe I'll wait to hear them with you, but just going from this, they have a lot of potential. As you said, it's hard to find a rookie group that is already comfortable in their own skin. I think it can improve nonetheless, their presence, and I'm sure it will.

I love love this debut. It's one of the best debuts I've seen so far. The song is amazing, the music video is amazing, they ALL can sing, and they ALL can dance. The choreography is so fun and different, love it.

I really like how you’re showing parts of the videos that you’re referring to as you review now, I used to always wish you would do that so I can see the shots you’re talking about
same, i didn't want to watch all the teasers and stuff because i didn't want to buy into the hype. and i think with this mv and choreography for crown it really sold me the 'txt' brand which was 'togetherness' because they do a lot of 'group' illusion in the dancing and i think it shows how that if one member is missing, you kind of see the difference and the gap and how awkward it would be if just one of them would not be there to complete the picture and i love that. each member contributes to a whole and its a very good message because every member is just as important. i love that. it just gives me goosebumps to think about how bts found about the same thing, how big of a missing piece each member holds, the whole of BV3 comes to mind.
i really always love your insights. i've been thinking that scene was so familiar too but i couldn't remember where but apparently it's from the matrix. honestly at this point, i think we've all learned that almost nothing bighit does in their content is a coincidence so i won't be surprised if they pull another reference from the matrix movies or have a story line loosely based from it
I’m kind of being thrown off by the muffled audio effect at the beginning of each jump cut. For a bit I thought that you’d just had some recording problems but after a few seconds the audio clears up and I can hear you properly. I don’t know what happened with that but maybe look into it? Anyway, I’m glad you liked their debut! I also deliberately went into this blind so that I wouldn’t put more expectation on txt’s shoulders than necessary and honestly I really love the style and concept they’re going for! Their mini album is a great sample of what we’ll probably be hearing from them in the future and they’re also really good at performing as far as I can tell. Definitely looking forward to hearing more from them in the future. Also, to your question about the if the members are all Korean or not, apparently Huening Kai, the youngest, is Korean-American, but everyone else is full Korean
the two guys that you thought looked familiar are Yeonjun and Soobin (backward hat guy), they look familiar because Yeonjun looks very similar to Daehyun from B.A.P. and Soobin looks similar to Sanha from ASTRO

I really love that Bighit always makes such interesting mvs that you always notice and learn something new. TXT only just debuted but you can already notice their own music style which is crazy for a complete rookie

Crown was amazing. I think if people were too become a little too technical with every group's release they'd realise that everyone else sound "typical" too. I feel like some can have unrealistic expectations on TXT. They just debuted and contrary to what these people think in my opinion it was a solid and cohesive debut and the boys still have a lot of potential for growth.
It's BH, of course there will be a storyline. As I can see after watching their MV's, they are again entertaining the alternate realities and multiverse idea and I like it. We will be trying to connect and figure things out and that's why I stan BigHit.
For now it seems like TXT is playing with Matrix like story line with a bit of Harry Potter.

Huening Kai is Korean-American (father American mother Korean), he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. From his fathers side he is German, Polish, Brazilian and Scottish. This is by far my favorite debut this year and not because it's a BH group but their music, charisma and talent are really amazing in my book. Can't wait to see them grow ^^
Their teasers suggest that they are stuck in a false reality possibly, so the matrix feel was seen in that as well by some of us.

well, what you said about the horns and the crown and how the boy eventually found someone who is "the same" is completely what the story is about. they had their debut show yesterday and mnet uploaded the part with the story/origin for the song. you may or may not already checked it out.
when i saw their concept pictures i thought they were going for a retro concept. i don't know why but i thought of like 70s/80s. the clothes, the colours, and the effects, which was all included in the video as well.
the song is nice, the chroreo clean. the editing is also well done. i like it. the whole album is fine. i hope they will do well!

When I first watched the mv I couldn’t stop smiling. It made my happy and it’s a summer bop. The album is good, I think they played it safe for a debut so I’m excited to see them grow as artists and establish their own sound and style

In txt' back story that is provided in the beginning of their debut stage it is said that the boy with horn ran away to a place no one would see him or judge him and with that story is a little animation where he is absorbed into a different world and that's where they meet the boy with wings who teaches him how to love his horns. Maybe that different world has something to do with the matrix?

Oh my god! I was actually blown away by the Matrix reference!! That is so cool and I’m glad you mentioned it! True... it could be the director just loving the movie... but this is BigHit and (if I’m not mistaken) Lumpens working on the MV... Rarely anything they do is just “because”, you know? Anyway! I love this style of MV review with the replay of some shots and all!! Can’t wait for the listening party!

YES. I was waiting to be taught and you came through. I love this new series: "The Kulture Study" where everything is more detailed.
I loved the song. I'm not really into "overly cute concepts" because I somehow find them cringy, but the story behind the song and the meaning of it made the MV endearing to me. And the members already seem to have chemistry with each other, so that made it not awkward.
I haven't listened to the other songs yet, maybe I'll wait to hear them with you, but just going from this, they have a lot of potential. As you said, it's hard to find a rookie group that is already comfortable in their own skin. I think it can improve nonetheless, their presence, and I'm sure it will.

same, i didn't want to watch all the teasers and stuff because i didn't want to buy into the hype. and i think with this mv and choreography for crown it really sold me the 'txt' brand which was 'togetherness' because they do a lot of 'group' illusion in the dancing and i think it shows how that if one member is missing, you kind of see the difference and the gap and how awkward it would be if just one of them would not be there to complete the picture and i love that. each member contributes to a whole and its a very good message because every member is just as important. i love that. it just gives me goosebumps to think about how bts found about the same thing, how big of a missing piece each member holds, the whole of BV3 comes to mind.

i really always love your insights. i've been thinking that scene was so familiar too but i couldn't remember where but apparently it's from the matrix. honestly at this point, i think we've all learned that almost nothing bighit does in their content is a coincidence so i won't be surprised if they pull another reference from the matrix movies or have a story line loosely based from it

I’m kind of being thrown off by the muffled audio effect at the beginning of each jump cut. For a bit I thought that you’d just had some recording problems but after a few seconds the audio clears up and I can hear you properly. I don’t know what happened with that but maybe look into it?
Anyway, I’m glad you liked their debut! I also deliberately went into this blind so that I wouldn’t put more expectation on txt’s shoulders than necessary and honestly I really love the style and concept they’re going for! Their mini album is a great sample of what we’ll probably be hearing from them in the future and they’re also really good at performing as far as I can tell. Definitely looking forward to hearing more from them in the future.
Also, to your question about the if the members are all Korean or not, apparently Huening Kai, the youngest, is Korean-American, but everyone else is full Korean
