47:10 RVJ appears to be picking on East vs West out of bitterness. If you don't have the time to watch 14 matches in a row, you can take a break and resume later anytime you want. Does the man know how the pause button work in the PPV stream? 😅 A fan who is buying the PPV has to be practically braindead to complain about the number of matches when you can replay it for unlimited number of times. Quality is better than quantity?? Does he have any idea about the level of athletes who are on the card? 🤦🏽
What rob doesn't understand about a long armwrestling card is that it gives more time for ppl to break and decide to buy the ppv for the main events. Doesnt matter if ppl can watch a ppv for 7 hours or not, all that matters is that they buy the ppv... if the card starts at 1pm and main events are at 6pm then that gave a full 5 hours for ppl to get baited into buying the ppv. If the main event was at 4pm ppl stop buying ppvs cuz the results get released. Hence why UFC and boxing has prelims, and pre prelims.. makes ppl think about buying it and then they buy it
The thing is that the sport is not big enough that the audience is more of a armwrestling fan than fan of their favorite puller. If Devon Larratt didn’t compete I bet 75% of the PPV buys will drop. We need more athletes like Devon that can draw in people to watch 7 hours. I don’t recall another sport that has a 7 hour PPV. Please let me know. I see it both ways and understand both sides. But I believe that the overall audience is not big enough to want to watch 7 hours. Which means the PPV buys will drop and that is not what we want to grow.
I don't know why you guys are even discussing this. You're just like me i suppose and will watch the 7 hours. They have relevant data and that data influenced KOTT snd EvW to make their event longer.
